Chicago mayor has a shocking new job

Former Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot saw violent crime explode during her time in office and repeatedly broke her own COVID-19 policies.

Things got so bad she did not even make this year’s run-off election to keep her seat in the solid-blue city.

What’s her next natural career step?

Becoming a professor of public health at Harvard, of course,

Lightfoot announced she will soon teach a course at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. She will have the official title of “Richard L. and Ronay A. Menschel Senior Leadership Fellow” and teach a course tentatively titled “Health Policy and Leadership.”

Lightfoot certainly sent enough people to the hospital.

Chicago had 723 murders last year — a 40 percent increase since Lightfoot became mayor.

The blood ran thick enough that Chicago voters this year defeated a sitting Democratic mayor for the first time in 40 years.

By the time Lightfoot’s fellow Democrats kicked her out of the mayor’s mansion, Chicago rated as the 43rd most dangerous city in the world, according to researchers at Numbeo.com.

Lightfoot’s last day in office was May 15. Less than one month later, she had a gig at Harvard.

Administrators at the Ivy League institution insisted that Lightfoot earned the new position based on her “strong” record in office.

“As mayor, she showed strong leadership in advocating for health, equity, and dignity for every resident of Chicago, from her declaration of structural racism as a public health crisis to her innovative initiative to bring mental health services to libraries and shelters,” said the dean of the health school, Michelle A. Williams. “And of course, she led the city through the COVID-19 pandemic.”

Lightfoot’s commitment to “equity” meant that she tried to ban white reporters from asking questions at press conferences. Aside from the COVID school closures, schoolkids missed weeks of class thanks to a clash between Lightfoot and the city teachers’ union.

But Lori Lightfoot’s real COVID-19 policy seemed to be lockdowns for everyone but herself.

Lightfoot threatened to “treat you like a criminal” if you left your home during the pandemic, but she scheduled a visit to the hairdresser to get her thin hair styled.

When she posed for a picture with her stylist who did her new ‘do, neither one wore masks.

The then-mayor defended breaking her own safety regulations—which she said were absolutely necessary to prevent the spread of a deadly disease—by saying, “I’m out in the public eye! I’m a person who takes their personal hygiene very seriously.”

She went on to break her public COVID policy again when she let huge, twerking, maskless crowds celebrate Joe Biden’s certification as the 2020 election winner—and she addressed the party-like crowd without wearing a mask.

Dissident public health experts say that hypocrisy was at the heart of Lightfoot’s policy and her new employment.

“Schools of public health have become a refuge for exiting politicians & health agency appointees of 1 political party (only). A revolving door of partisan ‘experts’ at many schools intolerant of ideolog(ical) diversity,” said Dr. Marty Makary, a regular Fox News guest.

Lightfoot isn’t the only Democrat failing her way up the ladder of success. The ex-mayor of the Windy City will be joining failed mayor of the Big Apple, ex-New York City Mayor Bill De Blasio, who announced last August that he will also begin teaching at the Harvard T. H. Chan School of Public Health and the and the Harvard Kennedy School of Government’s Institute of Public Health.

One month later, canceled CNN host Brian Stelter took his rotund frame to a new position the Harvard Kennedy School’s Shorenstein Center on Media, Politics and Public Policy, and he moderated a forum on disinformation at this year’s World Economic Forum.

The ultimate loser, Hillary Clinton, could not be outdone, so in January she received two cushy, well-paid positions at the prestigious Columbia University: as a professor of practice at the School of International and Public Affairs and a presidential fellow at Columbia World Projects

“Disgraced, recalled, Soros-backed San Francisco D.A. Chesa Boudin is now teaching at Berkeley Law School,” added Turning Point USA leader and talk show host Charlie Kirk. “Modern academia exists to give fake jobs to disastrously failed.”

Outside of the ivory tower, Georgia Democrat Stacey Abrams lost two elections for governor by wider and wider margins, but she got invited to the elite, secretive annual meeting of the Bilderberg Group. Critics say the shadowy, secretive meeting is one of the places the globalist elite plan the future of the world.

“Leftists are always rewarded for being abject failures,” said conservative writer Wesley J. Smith of National Review.

Former Vice President Al Gore “was turned into a multimillionaire savior of the planet by Hollywood progressives. John Kerry becomes the climate czar.”

Now the Leftist Mafia has marked Abrams as one of their own. Stacey Abrams is “now so ‘made’ she was invited to 2023 Bilderberg Group meeting.”

If the most powerful institutions in the world want losers to lead them, they couldn’t pick a better teacher than Lori Lightfoot.
