For eight years, critics say former President Barack Obama regularly broke United States law and frequently overstepped his executive powers.
In fact, Obama was behind some of the biggest scandals in American political history.
The list includes, but is not limited to: the Benghazi massacre, Operation Fast and Furious, the IRS-Tea Party scandal, secret cocaine smuggling deals with Hezbollah, the much maligned Iranian nuclear deal, illegal NSA domestic spying, and, of course, helping to cover-up former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s illegal email usage.
Finally, one top U.S. senator is calling for an immediate investigation of Obama’s misuse of power: Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul.
Paul called Obama’s potential meddling in the 2016 election on behalf of Hillary “worse than Watergate” and demanded government agencies open an immediate investigation.
Thursday on Twitter, Paul wrote —
Time to investigate high ranking Obama government officials who might have colluded to prevent the election of @realDonaldTrump! This could be WORSE than Watergate!
— Rand Paul (@RandPaul) December 21, 2017
Paul is referring to the illegal wiretapping that Obama ordered on Trump during the election, which The Horn News previously reported was allegedly shared with Hillary’s campaign.
Trump originally called for this investigation in August.
It’s nice to see GOP senators finally getting on-board with the president.
It’ll be even nicer to see Obama hauled away in handcuffs.
