Democrats have spent a generation lecturing Americans that you have to give up luxuries like cars that run on gasoline to fight a global “climate change emergency.” But their lives put the lie to the whole charade. The latest purchase from the current leader of the Democratic Party has proved, once again, that none of them let their off-the-wall climate beliefs get in the way of pampering themselves.
Failed 2024 presidential candidate Kamala Harris just bought a glorious new mansion located on what she personally called “the front lines of the climate crisis,” on the sunny beaches of Malibu.
The Harris-Emhoff gang bought the 4,000-square-foot home — with four bedrooms and six baths, sitting on a little less than an acre of prime beachfront property — for $8.15 million on December 2.
Since her days as talk show host Montel Williams’ glitzy girlfriend, it’s been obvious Kamala Harris has a taste for the finer things. And she settled for nothing but the best here.
The property “is bathed in natural light, featuring high wood-beamed ceilings, a built-in speaker system, and a gas fireplace,” while “perched in a prime coastal location,” according to Zillow.
The house is located on a coast called Little Dume—a beach so beautiful and exclusive you have to buy a key to use it. If you do, you can hobnob with such celebrity neighbors as Julia Roberts, Sean Penn, Bob Dylan, Owen Wilson, Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, and Google co-founder Sergey Brin. Their real estate agent is selling Johnny Carson’s Malibu compound for a cool $110 million.
Let’s say, it’s an exclusive neighborhood.
Harris’ new digs features “breathtaking ocean, island, and city views” from the outside and all the amenities inside, like “a sunken wet bar with stone counters, a mini wine fridge, and a sink perfect for entertaining.”
“The kitchen is a chef’s dream,” says the entry—so maybe Kamala could host a Food Network cooking show there.
“The pool boasts an automatic cover and a built-in Jacuzzi,” as well as a cold plunge and a sauna, “while a fire pit and outdoor TV near the primary suite’s deck enhance the experience.”
A “private putting and chipping green with a bunker offers a golfer’s paradise,” says Zillow.
“This home is a sanctuary of sophistication and comfort,” and truly “a masterpiece of design.”
It’s not clear whether Kamala still owns her 3,500-square-foot house in Brentwood, California, which Emhoff bought in 2012 for $2.7 million—but don’t worry about them. Emhoff “bills $2,000 an hour (as a lawyer), and she has a best-selling book and is making a lot of money for speaking engagements,” an unnamed source told NewsNation. “They can afford it.”
Harris also pocketed a tidy little profit when she sold her two-bedroom apartment in Washington, which she bought as a freshman senator in 2017 for $1.77 million and sold four years later for $1.85 million. Every little bit helps.
But the hypocrisy is not just that Kamala is living large after telling you to scale down, bike to work, and settle for less.
The bigger hypocrisy is where the house is located: Point Dume, California—which Harris has claimed could be practically wiped out by climate change. “A climate model issued by the Biden-Harris administration determined that Point Dume State Beach, the beach a short walk from Harris’s new property, would be severely damaged by sea level rise even under the model’s most modest projections,” reported the Washington Free Beacon. “The Trump administration discontinued that model in June 2025.”
If that weren’t enough, Kamala Harris personally told a crowd at the University of Miami in 2023, “To live in a coastal community is to live on the front lines of the climate crisis.”
It looks like Kamala wanted a front row seat from her Jacuzzi.
Her administration published an Interior Department study that concluded, thanks to rising sea levels caused by climate change, “24%-75% of California’s beaches may become completely eroded” by the year 2100.
But Kamala, her stepdaughter, and most of the illegal aliens who wait on her hand-and-foot will be long dead by then.
That’s just one of a huge number of statements Harris made while climbing the Democratic ranks from California attorney general, to U.S. senator, to vice president and presidential candidate—and then shown to be a complete lie by her decisions.
“Climate change is an existential threat to all of us.”

At the beginning of 2019, during her first presidential campaign, Kamala Harris backed Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s radical socialist policies, saying, “I support a Green New Deal. Climate change is an existential threat to all of us, and we have got to deal with the reality of it.”
Four months later, she added, “Climate change is an existential threat to our planet but we have supposed leaders committed to pushing science fiction instead of science fact. That’s why I support the Green New Deal – the clock is ticking every day on this issue and we must act.”
Two years after that, then-Vice President Harris said, “Climate change is an existential threat to humanity.”
With her purchase, Kamala Harris has become just the latest Democrat to claim to believe rising sea levels would drown us all—then purchase a beach house supposedly at the eye of the storm.
I support a Green New Deal. Climate change is an existential threat to all of us, and we have got to deal with the reality of it.

The Horn told you about Joe Biden’s three houses: a 6,850-square-foot home on four acres in Wilmington, Delaware; a six-bedroom, $2.7 million home near Cape Henlopen State Park; and his 12,000-square-foot, five-bedroom home in McLean, Virginia, which he rented for $20,000 a month.
Socialist Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders spent some of his $25 million fortune buying three homes, including a posh vacation retreat on Lake Champlain.
Barack Obama bought a $15 million estate on Martha’s Island, situated on 29 acres of beachfront property, in 2019… and then heated it with a huge, 2,500-gallon propane tank.
The list of Democratic hypocrites goes on as long as the beautiful California seashore, as numerous as the golden sands of Malibu’s beaches.
We hope Kamala Harris has to spend years picking that sand out of the cracks in her bathing suit—which seems to be where the Democrats got their insane climate change rhetoric, as well.
