Barack Obama used to have the most insulting things to say about the rich — until he became one, that is.
Now that the Obamas have officially entered the ranks of the super-rich, they’ve decided to celebrate by buying a brand new mansion in one of the world’s most elite zip codes.
The Obama family snapped up a sprawling property on Martha’s Vineyard with a price tag of around $15 million, reportedly.
The 6,900-square-foot beachfront castle has 7 bedrooms, 9 bathrooms, and a private boathouse — all on 29 acres of beachfront property.
The Obama family’s mega-mansion is so enormous that the entertainment website TMZ, which has seen the homes of celebrities and millionaires galore, call their new digs “incredible.”
Read its list of amenities, and you’ll agree.
TMZ reports that the new Obama estate has “the obligatory pool, an outdoor fireplace, a chef’s kitchen, vaulted ceilings and 2 guest wings.”

The Obama compound also comes with “incredible views, especially while soaking in the second-floor balcony Jacuzzi.”
This may be for vacations, but it’s far from a Motel Six.
The Obamas love taking holidays in the Democrats’ favorite playground so much that they didn’t even let their time in office stop them. They only missed one year in Martha’s Vineyard during his eight years in office.
At the same time, many Americans feeling the weight of the recession couldn’t vacation anywhere… especially not the Kennedy family’s home base.
No one knows exactly how much America’s most liberal president paid for his vacation home, but the former owner, Boston Celtics owner Wyc Grousbeck, had an asking price of $14,850,000.
Critics say the family’s decision to sink their mega-millions into another mansion makes Obama the biggest hypocrite ever to hold office.
He used to ding the rich, telling them they needed to “spread the wealth around.”

Just last year, when Obama said “shows a poverty of ambition to just want to take more and more and more, instead of saying, ‘Wow, I’ve got so much. Who can I help? How can I give more and more and more?’” But just any house isn’t enough for his family — not even just one house.
This is the Obamas’ third mansion, not including the $8.1 million mansion they have in a guarded section of Washington, D.C., and the home he bought as a high-paid law professor in Chicago’s ultra-wealthy Hyde Park neighborhood.
Still, they decided they needed a home away from home, away from home.
But don’t cry for them. They can afford it.
When the Obamas left office, they had an estimated net worth of $40 million and it’s only increased since then.
Today, they’re probably worth more like $135 million…and growing fast!

This doesn’t exactly line up with Obama’s views of the rich, either.
“I do think at a certain point you’ve made enough money,” President Obama said during a 2010 campaign speech.
It was the only line in the entire rally he didn’t just read off his TelePrompter; so he meant it or at least sounded like he did.
There’s another huge hypocrisy at the heart of the Obamas’ new compound: The Obamas have been huge believers in global warming and once said that climate change is a bigger threat than ISIS.
He even funded research, with your tax money, that showed the catastrophic flooding that would wipe out whole coastal areas of the U.S., if politicians didn’t adopt a socialist plan like the “Green New Deal.”
One of those models show that his mansion would be totally underwater in just a few decades.

Obama decided to buy the mansion anyway…which made critics say he doesn’t believe his own Big Government rhetoric.
He just wants to keep average Americans from moving in next door to him and ruining the view from his second-floor jacuzzi.
