United Airlines has suffered an hours-long problem with its computer systems that resulted in delays and cancellations globally.

Passengers travelling late Thursday and early Friday took to social media to complain about delays as long as six hours.

United posted a statement on its Twitter account saying “we’re aware of an issue with our system & are working to resolve it.” By 3 a.m. EDT (0700 GMT), United officials claimed to have fixed it and said delayed flights were resuming.

Flight tracking service FlightStats showed 20 United flights were delayed and seven canceled worldwide by European morning hours.

The Associated Press contributed to this article.

So all of these major corporations (Target, airline companies, Netflix, etc) have had major problems with their computer systems. Hackers, maybe Russian or good old American crooks, are stealing identity, insurance, health information like they’re taking candy from a baby. And now comes this Presidential election where the votes are going to be counted by a Spanish company. Votes will be collected, routed to Spain and back. Of course there is no problem. If you don’t believe me ask Netflix or Target or Delta Airlines or any one of several US Govt Agencies hit by hackers recently.
