Two Ohio college students have been shot in an apparent robbery at a house near campus.
Police say the two male students were shot Tuesday night near the campus of Miami University.
The victims told police that two other males shot them and then took off.
The victims were taken to area hospitals. Their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening. Police have not released their names.
It’s unclear what led to the shooting. No arrests have been made.
Police are encouraging students to use caution and report any suspicious activity.
Miami University is a public university located in Oxford, about 35 miles north of Cincinnati.

Another shooting in a “gun Free” zone? Maybe not this one. Yet schools, movie theaters, etc. are where most “mass shootings” happen. It’s not a coincidence.
I visited Miami of Ohio University Homecoming Weekend several years ago. Very sad to hear this. My two Nephews and one Niece graduated from Virginia Tech that had several murders on Campus a few years ago. Very sad state of affairs.
If they were heading to the house from campus, very likely known to be disarmed. The school is a GFZ with the exception that you may lock your firearm in a vehicle as long as you’re not a student, faculty, or staff (not illegal for them, but can be expelled or fired). In this case, it wouldn’t matter if they were walking or driving – if they were following the rules, they were disarmed soft targets. But that this school, it’s unlikely you’ll find very many who would want it any other way. It’s a party school and liberalmushbrain production factory. The very rare and well-prepared student might leave with independent thought, but they probably wouldn’t graduate.
Carry permits or more security with guns. The crooks only hit gun free towns and businesses. I feel safe with a Deputy carrying a gun. My kids in CO all carry. That’s the way to keep our country safe. If Obama takes our guns we will be no better off than Hitler in Germany or Castro in Cuba. The government has allowed Obama to have open borders! Non-vetted refugees. We have drug gangs taking over town. Terrors attacking our citizens and Law enforcement.
Hillary will follow Obama’s plan and our country will be over run with refugees and illegals.
TRUMP has my vote! He has addressed every issue and living on borders our media isn’t telling the truth.
