Once only a popular rallying cry, “lock her up” could take on a very real meaning now that President Elect Donald Trump is heading to the Oval Office.
During the third and final Presidential debate, Donald Trump told Democratic nominee Hilary Clinton that if he became President, he would, “instruct my attorney general to get a special prosecutor into your situation.”
Throughout his campaign, Trump questioned the legitimacy of the FBI’s investigation into Clinton’s illegal use of a private email server. He referred to her email scandal as, “bigger than Watergate,” and argued that she was, “protected by a rigged system.”
Now he has won the presidency, and Clinton is shaking in her pantsuit that she is heading to jail.
When FBI Director James Comey did not recommend charges for the second time, Trump said, “Unbelievable what she gets away with.”
While the process of putting Clinton behind bars would be a long one, Trump could very well restart the investigation, and potentially land her in jail.
Should he follow through with his threat to appoint a special prosecutor to investigate Clinton, the inquiry would have to reveal that she did in fact violate criminal law. From that point, she would have the right to a fair trial in which the prosecutor would have to argue against the original evidence that led the FBI to not recommend charges.
While it’s anything from impossible, there is plenty of speculation he would actually follow through with the prosecution.
Trump praised Clinton during his victory speech, saying she was owed, “a major debt of gratitude for her service to our country.”
However, some Republicans have called for Trump to pardon Clinton as an act of unity, a gracious act that could help heal the post-election divide.

Our nation has many problems, and Mr. Trump will be tested early and often. We have more important issues than prosecuting a tired, old, has-been politician who’s career is certainly over. If Ms. Clinton can have a ‘come to Jesus’ moment and completely admit her sins/crimes concerning the emails and the Clinton Foundation, then maybe Trump can be gracious and lenient. The Clinton Foundation would also have to be shut down and cease doing business. Like I said, we have many more important issues facing this country than revenge against the Clintons. Just as Trump has promised to undo all of the damage that Obama has done to our country, he should also follow through with the promise to appoint a special commission to look into all of her shady dealings, and finally let due process run it’s course. 7. Seek an early sit down with Benjamin Netanyahu to affirm America’s firm and lasting support of Israel.
8. Establish an extra-governmental commission to recommend steps to make government smaller and less untrustworthy.
9. Crate an uncompensated commission to suggest mechanisms to return to Federalism, eliminate the Electoral College and eliminate Judicial Activism.
10. All the foregoing while ridding th world of ISIS/ISIL and Jihad terrorism.
11. Appoint a Citizen’s committee to study, make recommendations and return God to our Classrooms and communities.

Why does everyone keep talking about building a wall? The wall will not and has not kept illegals out even where it is in place. They just burrow underneath it.
The way I see it, a minefield would be much cheaper and a whole hell of a lot faster to put in place than some wall! You simply emplace two rows of concertina wire and then a third roll on top between the two bottom rolls. Place “WARNING MINEFIELD” signs on the Mexican side of the concertina wire in Spanish, Arabic, and whatever other language that we are having a problem with that are sneaking across. After that is in place, you start placing anti-personnel mines in a staggered pattern on our side of the concertina fence with ground sensors (prevent any tunnel digging) every 25 yards apart. This strip of mines/ground sensors would be at least 25 yards wide. Then all that has to be done is emplace a typical three strand barbed wire fence with motion sensors mounted every 50 yards or so apart, depending on terrain. Very simple but effective solution. And, it would give our Military something to do besides what the vast majority of them are doing right this moment. I’d say it would take not more than 3 months if all of our Marine and Army combat engineer companies were involved.

As I think I understand the applicable laws she may have violated with respect to classified emails, the punishment is fines and/or jail time. I would think that jail time would only be an embarrassment for Hillary as she would be in a “cushy” jail; however, fines could be more significant. Since fines are per violation – and there is no requirement for intent – I would recommend that she be fined the maximum per email violation, which might add up to 10’s or 100’s of million dollars. Since money seems to be her driver, I believe that would be felt more intensely by her.

With Donald in the Whitehouse and some new leadership at DOJ I think the current investigations should proceed. I personally believe there is more to come in the Clinton Foundation investigation. If this pans out to be the bigger bombshell then those involved should go to trial. Allow the justice system to take it’s course. I would have the special prosecutor do their investigation. If they find her guilty of any one or more of her illegal activity, place a hefty fine on the Clintons and remove her ability to do more of the same. The president does not have judicial powers he can only offer clemency. It is up to the legal organizations to conclude their investigation and prosecute, or not. Although a president can make his wishes known, the FBI staff, or Attorney General staff are under no obligation “poison the water” by allowing a setting president to sway an investigation. I have been hearing the many pros and cons of a pardon for Hillary by many, both on the internet and talk radio. If Obama does it, it would become his legacy, if Trump does it, it could be considered an act of healing the country, while it would certainly reinforce the feeling in the nation that the elites always look out for themselves.
My personal feeling is that there is much that we do not know about the wheeling and dealing of the Clinton Crime Family Foundation, but should.
Therefore, I propose a compromise- pardon Hillary, but ONLY Hillary, and allow the investigation to go forward, and go after the second stringers- people who knew they were committing crimes against the nation (Podesta and Mook come to mind).
Once we know the extent of their (and by extension, her) crimes, that will provide a convincing coda to the Clinton legacy- immune from prosecution, but forever tainted in history.
And maybe, just maybe, the Clintons will shut up and just go away. It would be worth it.

A special prosecutor is very expensive and requires a staff of lawyers, investigators and support staff. the Special Prosecutor in the Bill Clinton case cost over 15 million. It takes up a lot of the President elect’s time and energy. Why not leave it in the hands of his FBI Director Comey and whoever he appoints as Attorney General and his new Director of IRS. President Trump should call for an Independent Prosecutor to work with the House Investigation committee and make an independent determination on ALL issues she has known to have misled, or lied to Congress about. If probable cause is found, then by all means, indict her on all crimes. She should be no different than any other citizen.

In my opinion, I agree with Trump needing to focus on other area’s, however, if Hillary’s shady work implicates on President Obama’s agenda, I’d like to see an investigation which would bring out the truth. Of those findings, I believe that they should be publically known & if she’s guilty have her retreat in to retirement & all of here business ties be severed or shut down. Thus giving most American’s what they want (the truth) & giving American’s a chance to work together to work on correcting any of her corrupt doings while in office.

I believe that Trump should pardon her. This would effectively convict her for ever while appearing to be conciliatory. It is not something that one can do easily – reject a pardon without having to stand trial on ones own admission of guilt

Complete the investigation and then pardon her. If she accepts the pardon, she is admitting guilt. It will do no good for the United States to continue what many see as a political battle. If the investigation continues, it will send a message we still believe in the rule of law and no one is or should be above the law.
No stone should be left unturned in an investigation. If her dealings with foreign countries through the Clinton Foundation are found to be of an illegal nature, possibly bordering on treason, then she should be exposed along with all who(and there would be many) colluded with her.
He should appoint a special prosecutor. She may have committed egregious crimes involving the safety and security of the American people to advance her desire for personal wealth and power.
