Teens allegedly burn down principal’s home

Idaho police believe four teenage boys set fire to their high school principal’s house in retaliation for being suspended.

Payette Police Chief Mark Clark told the Idaho Statesman on Tuesday that he asked a judge to issue warrants for the arrest of three high-schoolers and one middle-schooler.

Clark says social media posts helped lead investigators to the suspects.

The Feb. 22 blaze destroyed Payette High School principal Mark Heleker’s home and three cars parked in the driveway. His family and pets escaped the fire that started in a trash can outside the garage.

Heleker says he knows the older boys but not the younger student. He’s a former mayor of the city of 7,500 people about 60 miles northwest of Boise.

The Associated Press contributed to this article.

Does it seem unreasonable that our public education system has promoted the idea that humans are merely animals and that the students begin to live that way too.

Respect, discipline, honor , honesty, etc have been thrown out of our school system, compliments of the liberals and ACLU. We are graduating a populace of demonic millenniums whose only respect is “ME”..Many graduates can’t tell you what the three branches of our Government are. Don’t believe me? Ask several and chances are over 50% will “DAH-WHAT” the answer.

      I don’t think it’s JUST the public schools…
Parents seem to not be teaching their kids the value of life, humans especially, and even animals.
Young people, many times, show they have no respect of life!
Especially if they get ahold of a lethal weapon, which they think gives them power over others.

This little town could be the USA in miniature. Look at the comments we do not condem the wrong doing we jump to politics. I can guarantee that they did not come from teenagers. They came from the parents of perhaps the the next crimals. Make sure your own house is clean before you criticize someone else’s .

When we have problems in our community, we should blame the problem on the parents. If the parents don’t know how how rear their kids, then it was their parents fault in the way they brought them up. Please keep religion out of this, there is no real proof to anything on religion. I believe there is a supreme bring, but everything beyond that is nothing but words that man has created to put fear in mans mind, for the purpose to control him/her.

Our educational programs have failed! Look at the terrible grammar and spelling of these presumably adult – written letters, correct as some of them may be in expression. Man-O-man!
