The Portland chapter of The Satanic Temple has succeeded in its efforts to bring an after-school program to a Portland elementary school.
The Oregonian/OregonLive reports the organization has been approved to begin a program on Oct. 19 at Sacramento Elementary School.
Finn Rezz, one of the group’s leaders, says their program focuses “on science and rational thinking,” and it will promote “benevolence and empathy for everybody.”
The Satanic Temple has been targeting schools that have a Good News Club.
That club is put on by the Child Evangelism Fellowship, “a Bible-centered organization composed of born-again believers whose purpose is to evangelize boys and girls with the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ and to establish (disciple) them in the Word of God and in a local church for Christian living.”

REALLY ? so they will promote empathy for everyone and be kind and loving? under the leadership of the ultimate evil. GOD help the innocent children who will be affected by this lie. When everyone is talking about bullying, kids killing kids, guns and violence in the schools they offer up children to the most hateful, evil, force in all creation. Anyone still doubt we are in the last days?
No not at all. The lord comes with the blowing of the trumpet. The next feast of trumpets is Oct. 3 rd maybe we will be gone.
All part of the larger plan to dismantle America so that the globalists will have an easier time with their agenda.
The parents of the children in this school should not allow their children to participate, if they know what is right. That’s the only way to stop this effort cold, if there are zero participants.
That’s what I would like to know. Where is the uproar that all of these parents should be doing. What is wrong with them? Keep your kids safe and keep them as far from this “school” as possible.
The Church of Satan was started by Anton LaVey. According to an online article, he realized that his promoted teachings were false. God works in strange ways.
It is up to parents to keep their kids away from bad companions. Not the govt. Freedom of religion means we the people can believe what we want. Which also means the govt can’t impose or even teach any of us to believe what say O or H believe. But the Dept of Education has opened the door for this admin to come up with Common core, telling schools they have to teach whatever in schools or not get funds. This is extortion by the feds.
What used to be is the only Constitutional approach to govt, beyond the local level, involvement in education. The Three Rs, but never the 4th R, religion. Religion is believing in whatever. Even overthrow of the govt, or satan. There is a difference between believing and acting. You can believe the govt needs to be eliminated, but practicing sedition is illegal. The govt is not going to nor is able to solve everyone’s wants or needs. All the govt does is solve the wants and greed, oops need, of those empowered to make decisions and allocate funds. But the pols will sure tell us they are doing it all for us.

Is this some sort of sick joke? Do people think that Satan is just some ‘comic bearded and horned grandaddy figure’?? Please tell me that no sane parent would even consider the prospect of sending their child to a Satanic club – I mean what’s going on with the world. Have we really slid this far down the slippery slope away from any and all knowledge or even notion of God? America where are your Christian roots?? Find them and return to the One Lord Jesus Christ our one True Saviour before it’s too late. Stop this and save your children from the snares of the devil…

I can see a bunch of unchurched teenagers thinking it would be a hoot to go to this club — out of curiosity — and then come to their senses…. Starting this crap in grade school is a serious infliction of evil into little children… God help those parents and the school administrators who perpetuate this…
The best things kids can do is avoid the Satan club. If parents don’t to find themselves dealing with little devils they should make sure their kids stay away from the Satan club. This would be a good teaching opportunity for parents. Their kids need to know that every group they will encounter in life is not a good group. The children need to learn to tell the difference between evil and good. Satan is evil. Jesus is good. If the Satan club doesn’t have any attendees or if they have a bunch of unruly little demons to deal with they are likely to move to an easier target.
To add a little levity, this line “If parents don’t to find themselves dealing with little devils they should make sure their kids stay away from the Satan club.” has to be one of the best I’ve ever read!
Judging by my visits to restaurants, it’s already too late for a bunch of “little devils”!
Seriously, though, parents have been fighting exposure to, and glorification of, Islam in public schools for some time now; maybe the schools have re-thought who Allah (the entity who commands murder, rape, slavery) might really be, since he can’t be the entity that we call “God,” who commands us to love one another.
The SAD thing is that it is felt that the “Don’t let your children participate in this DOGSHIT” option has to be pointed out to the parents.

This school should be permanently CLOSED! All of these children should be redirected to a better clean minded school. It is very hard to believe that our chi9ldren are not allowed to pray and worship GOD but this sinful club is allowed. NO children should be allowed to attend this school. It is totally WRONG!
We are in end times…who in their “right” mind would support the Devil..and yes indeed, there is a Devil……………otherwise why would people want communism in USA, instead of freedom?
Many people think communism and socialism (communism lite) are just fine because they were indoctrinated by leftist (liberal) teachers in public schools, starting around the late sixties.
This is frightening news. This debate has been raging for some time now. Satan is not a comic book figure nor is he a good guy. If we don’t wake up this will be in every school. What a sad thing to expose innocent children to the belief that satan promotes “benevolence and empathy for everybody.” You see, satan is deceitful and cunning. Who better to target that our innocent children!

I am curious how the educational agenda can ban any mention of God and then support the organization of a Satanic Cult?
Well, they haven’t seemed to have much problem supporting another cult that practices human sacrifice – Islam.
As a ruggedly rural, mostly conservative, Christian community in the PNW, our single elementary school was targeted by this “club” for one of its early (test waters) trials this past August. As a result, there has been much churning controversy, even online, as it perversely pits traditionalists and atheists/others against one another under the Constitution’s separation protection between Church and State. As I’ve seen reported, this purported to be ‘scientifically, rationally minded’ group is zeroing in on Christian affiliated “Good News Club” groups which have been, more so in rural settings, active in the after school opportunity for decades.
Just recently, one of our (now) elderly neighbors wrote so articulately to the local paper to confirm how, as a child, this exposure was both a fun and nurturing experience…whereby children who needed temporary oversight were provided with adult supervision, structured play, creative games and companionship while any aspect that can be identified as Christian values were those, by virtue of these deeds, related to (universal) expressions of unconditional love, friendship and empathy….meaning, it was by these kindly actions (even subconsciously) that the children felt cared for, not preached to.
And now, as is based on a Constitutional protection (used to justify their equal right for similar inclusion) there is this contrived or outlier idea (not spontaneously springing from within community itself) that endeavors to make in-roads to…if not breech, at least compromise this communal trust…which, from earliest days, was not so much about primary influence of proselytizing, but more so about accepting what was commonly perceived as the inherent ‘good neighbor’ responsibility to watch out for one’s brother, and their children, via proactive response to bonafide need.
Overall, THE glaring reason why we ‘know’ this latest is a politically devious or disingenuous attempt to impart manipulative ideas under ruse of ‘science and rational thinking’ upon the curious minds of impressionable children is because of the stark provocation they’ve generated with the ‘Satan’ word and image…as well as…the distinctly divisive inference against Christian concepts that have, for centuries, based a foundational premise on the reality of human frailty (flaws of character) which, in turn, requires absolute necessity to fight inner demons by conscious ‘will and choice’ to better promote what we know in our honest heart as the incessant battle for good (compassionate lovingkindness) over bad.
