Report: CNN helped with anti-Trump dossier

Former FBI Director James Comey’s controversial memo contained a bombshell the mainstream media has completely ignored — but The Horn News found it. And it’s huge.

According to Comey, the media and “CNN in particular” were demanding a “news hook” on the Steele dossier before President Donald Trump took office on Jan. 20, 2017 — the debunked document funded by Hillary Clinton’s campaign that was used by Barack Obama’s administration in 2016 to justify a wiretap of Trump Tower.

Comey delivered, briefing the then-president-elect on the salacious document’s contents specifically so it could be leaked — and reported on — by the mainstream media.

“In multiple memos, Comey specifically mentioned that CNN had the dossier and wanted a ‘news hook’ that would enable the network to report on its most salacious allegations even though they had not been verified,” The Federalist reported.

In other words, Comey’s FBI used a debunked and controversial document to secure a wiretap of Trump’s presidential campaign.

When that didn’t stop Trump from winning, Comey wrote that he was under pressure by CNN to brief Trump on the document… so they could report on the meeting.

Just four days later, CNN was citing unnamed White House sources linking the president to Russian prostitutes and election meddling, as outlined in the debunked dossier he was just briefed on.

It should be noted that the only people involved in that meeting were Comey, Trump, Adm. Mike Rogers, then-CIA Director John Brennan, and then-Director of National Intelligence James Clapper.

Comey mentioned in his Jan. 2017 memo that the meeting was Clapper’s idea.

Clapper was hired by CNN as a national security analyst shortly after Trump took office.

And Comey says that Clapper wanted him to brief POTUS. A briefing that immediately leaked to CNN. And did we mention that Clapper gave inconsistent answers to Congress about his chats with … CNN about the dossier?

The connections don’t stop there. Critics note that the report from CNN on this anti-Trump dossier leak was written by Jake Tapper, Carl Bernstein, Jim Sciutto, and Evan Perez.

Sciutto is a former Obama political appointee, which the network never disclosed.

Tapper once worked as Chelsea Clinton’s mother-in-law’s campaign press secretary.

Perez reportedly has a close relationship to the authors of the anti-Trump dossier, which he also never disclosed.

“CNN’s bombshell report created another news hook but for another news outlet. Hours after the CNN story went live, BuzzFeed News published the entire 35-page dossier, which was later revealed to be funded by the Clinton campaign and DNC,” The Daily Caller reported. “The report has cast a cloud over the Trump presidency ever since, even though Trump has vehemently denied its allegations.”

And it is all linked straight back to Comey, Clapper, CNN… and Hillary Clinton’s campaign.

Obama FURIOUS over this Trump news (he’s VERY mad)
