Here’s who tens of thousands of The Horn readers chose for their dream President/VP ticket in the 2016 presidential election.
Most of the results match early polling numbers for conservative voters, but the appearance of Sarah Palin as the preferred vice presidential candidate of 3.7% of the nearly 30,000 readers who voted surprised some of us.

Something tells me those aren’t the real numbers of people who voted in this poll. Pretty sure there are like 40 people who visit this site.
They are the real numbers. This poll went on for about a month. Thinking it was a new one each time I saw it,, I filled out the forms and voted. After the first time I voted, all the other times, a sentence stating that I had already voted and could not vote again came up.

Something tells me, if your republican, you would rather have Rubio or Jeb, like some “fox media bias”, as well as the leftist “all”.. But the true conservative would pick the Trump/Cruz ticket.

The same thing happened to me. So I know its legit. It also agrees with my vote in the beginning — that is, on the first day the poll appeared.
THIS is definately a winning ticket, in my opinion. My plan is not only to vote but to volunteer to CAMPAIGN for them in any way that I can possibly be helpful…These men are WONDERFUL and will fix the MESS our country is in!

There is one site cheating the polls. The site was asking whether you want to vote for Trump or Jeb. I checked Trump but the site checked Jeb. This is unlawful. I wish I kept the site.

There is a difference between being a republican and being a conservative, they are not the same. I voted in this poll for Trump/Cruz. And when I tried to vote a second time, it wouldn’t allow me to vote, so this is a valid poll.
While Ben Carson is a very smart guy, I believe that he doesn’t have the strength and the ability to deal with the corrupt politicians in both parties. I know the old saying, “Speak softly, but care a big stick.”, I just don’t think that he carries a big enough stick to beat down the crooks in Washington. It’ll take someone to speak loudly and carry a huge baseball bat to deal with Washington. I also have a problem with some of his statements and issues he supports. Besides, he is beholden to his donors, to do their bidding. Everyone but Trump are beholden to their donors, Trump won’t own anyone any favors. And I believe he will clean house and a lot of people will go to jail by the time he is done. Of course this is assuming that we actually have an election next November.

Kasich and Christie are both RINOs and are only in it for the glory, not for the American people or country. Trump doesn’t have to run. He’s worth billions of dollars, so why is he running? Maybe, just maybe he loves America and wants to bring her back to her glory days. None of the other also rans, care as much about what is happening to this country. If they did, they would speak out. But everyone except Carson, Cruz and Trump are place fillers. Their jobs is to take up space on the ticket, so that bush or rubio can win with a smaller percentage of the votes. When the establishment put this game together, they were planning on bush being the nominee and with all the other candidates taking votes away from the other also rans, bush would be a shoe in with fewer votes. The establishment didn’t plan on the outsiders, Trump or Carson. They also, certainly didn’t plan on Trump being the front runner by such a wide margin or that bush would fade like a frost bitten tomato.

THE PERFECT DAY – 1 JANUARY 2017
DAY – January 20, 2017 (I can dream, can’t I?)
1. President Donald J. Trump and Vice President Theodore Cruz are sworn into office.
2. In a rare event on inauguration day, Congress convenes for an emergency meeting to repeal the illegal and unconstitutional Socialist healthcare farce known as Obamacare. The new Director of Health and Social Services Dr. Ben Carson announces that an independent group of healthcare management professionals is hired to handle healthcare services for poor and low income people. They are also assigned the duty of eliminating Medicare and Medicaid fraud. Government’s costs for public healthcare are reduced by 90%. Healthcare insurance premiums for working Americans are reduced by 50%. The move saves billions of taxpayer paid dollars. Healthcare service in the U.S improves 100%.
3. Newly appointed department of Homeland Security Chief Sarah Palin announced the immediate deployment of Troops to the U.S. Mexico border to control illegal immigration and the immediate deportation of illegals with criminal records or links to terrorist groups. New bio-encrypted Social Security ID’s are required by every American citizen. Birthright is abolished. All immigration from countries that represent a threat to the safety of American citizens is terminated indefinitely. The move saves American taxpayers billions of dollars. Several prisons are closed.
4. Newly appointed Secretary of Business and Economic Development John Kasich eliminates more than half of the Government agencies operating under the Obama administration saving taxpayers billions of dollars. Stocks rise 100%.
5. Newly appointed Director of Government Finance Rand Paul announced the abolition of the IRS and displays a copy of the new Federal Tax Return form. It consists of one page. The instructions consist of two pages. The Federal Reserve is audited. The move saves American Taxpayers billions of dollars and increases tax revenue.
6. Newly appointed Secretary of State John Bolton announced that The United States has resumed its role as the worlds’ superpower; that mankind is not responsible for the weather, seasonal changes, and how the sun influences our climate. Additionally, NASA is no longer a Muslim outreach program or climate change advocate, and will resume its traditional role objectively broadening our knowledge of our universe.
7. Hillary Clinton is in jail, where she belongs. Her cell is directly across from Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton who are serving time for “Hate Crimes”. She bitches at them constantly from behind the bars of her cell in what some might call cruel and unusual punishment.
8. Bernie Sanders is in the nuthouse, where he belongs. His room is directly across from Nancy Pelosi, Debbie Wasserman Schultz, Chris Matthews and Al Franken. They meet for tea every day at ten and discuss the success and benefits of Communism and Socialism throughout the world. They also wonder when the “Mothership” is going to pick them up and return them to their home planets.
9. Windows 12 is released. It is designed for humans, doesn’t try to satisfy the needs of every person on the planet, doesn’t require a degree in nuclear physics to operate and looks just like Windows 7 except it is easier to use.
10. Barack Obama flees the United States under cover of darkness and returns to his homeland of Kenya before his trial for treason begins. He deplanes on a remote jungle airstrip. It was reported that he was last seen wandering through the jungle singing “Hakuna Matata” with a chimp named Commie.
11. Oscar Meyer announces the introduction of a new cholesterol and fat free pepperoni that tastes just like regular pepperoni.
12. Not to be outdone, Kraft Foods announces the introduction of several varieties of cholesterol and fat free cheeses that taste just like regular cheese.
13. Dead people are no longer allowed to vote in Chicago, a huge blow for the Democrat Party in the State of Illinois.
14. I receive a call from an attorney in Ireland. He explains that I have inherited a brewery and coastal estate in Ireland from a distant relative and that I need to be in Dublin as soon as possible to sign the papers. Ten hours later we tour our new vacation home. There is a red Ferrari in the garage, also part of the inheritance.
And this my friends constitutes THE PERFECT DAY!!

Correction – Cruz’s real name is Rafael Cruz. He adopted the name “Ted” when he started to college (I think). The rest of your post, I am in total agreement with.

Actually Trump draws a large percentage of independents and democrats as well as republican. Maybe you should actually read the polls instead of guessing at them. They show that Trump also gets, for now, at least 25% of the black vote and 37% of the hispanic vote. So go peddle your poison pill to the democrats. Killery should be in jail instead of running for president and Bernie Sanders should be in the nut house away from the squirrels.

I think it would be wonderful if Donald Trump and Ted Cruz teamed up.They are both great guy’s and I believe together they would do wonders for America. I would pick TRUMP, 4 potus. VP Condoleezza Rice. She has more experience than the rest of GOP candidates, plus she was Secretary of State, and no one died on her watch, unlike the MURDERER, LYING, Hillary Clinton.
They complement each other. Trump is the no-nonsense business guy that doesn’t mince words, and Cruz is the savvy political insider that knows how to get things done. Trump and Cruz Would be good, un-fortunately most New Yorkers have there vote taken away by the electoral system. All of NY was Red last Presidential election except Erie county (Buffalo) and NYC they where Blue so Dems won the Electoral votes. Gives a guy a lot of incentive to vote when it doesn’t count. Would love to see ALL OF THEM involved in a new kind of Administration! Something that looks more like what the Founders wanted for this country. That’s probably what it would take to save this Republic. Ted Cruz for PREZ would be awesome! Recommend his book, “Time for Truth”. He is a true patriot and a brilliant attorney. He would also be a God-send on the Supreme Court which can turn either way during the next Administration. If he is not a prominent part of the next Administration, we are all done as a nation.
