“On the Holmes Front,” with Frank Holmes
Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., and her far-left “Squad” showed their true colors this week.
AOC and company partnered with a radical leftist blogger who said America deserves 9/11, mocked an American veteran who lost his eye, and called a terrorist bomber “brave.”
Ocasio-Cortez and Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., recently joined a livestream broadcast of a video game alongside someone who has spouted some of the most anti-American rhetoric in U.S. history—even more than AOC and Omar themselves.
The far-left congresswomen played a video game steaming platform Twitch with Hasan Piker, a former contributor to The Young Turks TV show. In the past, Piker has said America deserved the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center that killed thousands of our citizens.
Piker, the nephew of Young Turks founder Cenk Uygur, is popular on the Left as a video blogger—or vlogger—who regularly steams footage of himself ranting about politics while he plays video games.
But during a previous gaming session, he got himself into hot water.
“America deserved 9/11, Dude,” Piker said on a previous stream. “F*** it, I’m saying it.”
Then, he trashed Rep. Dan Crenshaw, R-Tex., a veteran who lost his right eye during an IED explosion.
“Didn’t he go to war and like literally lose his eye because some mujahideen — a brave f-cking soldier — f-cked his eye hole with their d-ck?” Piker said, while watching a video of Rep. Crenshaw’s appearance on Joe Rogan’s podcast. “Isn’t that how he f-cking lost his dumbass eye, because he got his f-cking eye hole f-cked, by a brave soldier?”
Crenshaw responded that Piker “seems to confuse ‘Improvised Explosive Device’ with some weird terrorist fantasy.”
Crenshaw is resilient. Around the same time, he went on Saturday Night Live and graciously forgave Pete Davidson for making fun of his disability—only to see Davidson retract his apology and criticize the Republican again.
But rather than apologize, Piker doubled-down in a gramatically-challenged message on Twitter.
He tweeted: “americas foreign policy decisions has lead to 911. this would’ve been a controversial thing to say in 2001. stop being a f—king idiot.” He continued: “we supplied arms to and trained bin laden. we destabilized the region long before 911. and now we’re stuck in perpetual war, which dan crenshaw was trying to justify in that clip. it’s exactly this kind of attitude that has sent thousands of young men and women overseas to die.”

Twitter suspended Piker’s account—the rare case of social media silencing someone on the extreme Left—until he offered a non-apology.
He said that he “should have used more precise and better use of the language there.” But he asked people to give him the benefit of the doubt, saying, “maybe you can chalk it up to English being my second language.”
But Hasan Piker’s hatred of America and of their colleague, Crenshaw, didn’t stop AOC and Omar from Twitching themselves to his star—anything if it meant turning out their core voters in two weeks.
“Of course, we are here to vote Blue,” said Ocasio-Cortez during the Twitch stream. “That’s [why] I’m here, to let you all know.”
What does it say about the Democratic Party that its most popular spokesperson believes the Democratic base listens to a radical leftist who blames America for al-Qaida’s attack on 9/11?
It says she knows her party.
Piker is hardly the first person to blame America for 9/11. That line has been taken by professor Ward Churchill, Bernie Sanders supporter Phillip Agnew, and former President Barack Obama’s personal pastor, Rev. Jeremiah Wright.
“We have supported state terrorism against the Palestinians and black South Africans, and now we are indignant because the stuff we have done overseas is now brought right back to our own front yards. America’s chickens are coming home to roost,” Wright ranted from the church Obama and his children attended. “God d-mn America!”
AOC herself has said America isn’t “an advanced society.” It’s a “dystopia” that is only “10 percent better than garbage.”
And scandal-plagued Rep. Ilhan Omar said that 9/11 was just an event where “some people did something.” When President Donald Trump criticized her remarks, AOC called it an “incitement of violence.”
Democratic Party leaders have used Omar’s status as a refugee from Somalia to deflect criticism of her own statements.
Omar claimed that U.S. support for Israel was “all about the Benjamins”—an anti-Semitic slander that Jewish people bribe politicians to support the nation of Israel. She refused to apologize, and Nancy Pelosi refused to condemn her remarks.
Instead, Pelosi said, “I don’t think our colleague is anti-Semitic, I think she has a different experience in the use of words.”
Now she’s joined Piker to prove that one language is foreign to them: the truth.
