The liberal knives are out!
California Rep. Nancy Pelosi, Democrat, is one of the most liberal members of Congress. She is responsible for the much of the agenda that’s pushed the party to the extreme left.
Now, rank-and-file Democrats are getting fed up with her… but not for the reasons you’d think.
They’re not trying to force the party back to the center.
No, as far as they’re concerned, Pelosi isn’t extreme enough!
Leftists in the party are vowing that Pelosi’s days are numbered. They’re already plotting to SHUT her DOWN if they retake the House of Representatives in November by denying her a return to the speaker’s chair.
At least 51 Democrats — including both incumbent members of Congress as well as candidates for the House — have now publicly said they won’t support her.
In the high-stakes political theater of Washinton, D.C.that’s a serious blow to Pelosi’s future hopes.

New York Rep. Kathleen Rice, Democrat, told CNN that “it’s time for people to know when to go.” Abigail Spanberger, a Democratic candidate in Virginia, told NBC News that “under no circumstances” would she ever vote for Pelosi for speaker. Richard Ojeda, a West Virginia candidate for Congress, said he wouldn’t support her either, telling the Atlantic: “I don’t think she relates to the working class.”
Even Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez — the extreme leftist “democratic socialist” candidate for Congress who is currently the darling of the mainstream media — is throwing cold water on Pelosi.
Ocasio-Cortez didn’t flat-out say she wouldn’t support her. But she gave a very elusive answer to CNN’s Chris Cuomo when asked who the leader of the Democrats would be after the midterm elections – one that hardly could be considered a vote of confidence.
“We are a collective, this is a movement, and I don’t think parties are ever about one person, but they’re about the contributions that each one person gives to the party,” she said.

Pressed by Cuomo, she wouldn’t budge.
“Once the House is won, we have to make that decision from there,” she said.
It’s getting so bad that even President Donald Trump stepped in with a mock endorsement of Pelosi.
Democrats, please do not distance yourselves from Nancy Pelosi. She is a wonderful person whose ideas & policies may be bad, but who should definitely be given a 4th chance. She is trying very hard & has every right to take down the Democrat Party if she has veered too far left!

The bad news for Pelosi comes as a new poll shows most of America also want her gone.
Just 27 percent say she should remain as the Democrats’ leader in the House.
The poll finds 91 percent of Republicans, 79 percent of independents and nearly half of all Democrats believe the party needs a new leader.
Pelosi herself was asked if she should step aside for one of the progressive young women now running for office.
“I’m female, I’m progressive. What’s your problem?” she said, according to The New York Times. “Two out of three ain’t bad.”
The problem, in addition to not being extreme enough for the “new left,” is Pelosi’s record of failure. After taking over as speaker after the 2006 elections, her actions led to one of the most resounding reversals of all time.

In 2010… just four years after taking control of the House… Pelosi led the Democrats into one of the biggest ballot box drubbings of all time, when her party lost 63 seats as well as control of the body.
But while the left keeps stabbing each other in the back, they could be missing what’s happening right in front of them: Chances of a Democratic takeover of the House are SHRINKING.
A booming economy has helped steady Trump’s approval rating, and the “generic ballot” – a poll that often serves as a bellwether of which party will win control Congress – is slipping.
Where the Democrats once led by double digits, a Reuters poll on Thursday found them up by just 2 points, while an IBD poll the day before found it’s now tied.
And that means the finger-pointing and back-stabbing could soon get a whole lot worse.
