House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi has said some very nasty things in the past — but what she said Thursday is simply beyond the pale.
While attacking President Donald Trump’s border security policy, Pelosi dismissed the Sep. 11th, 2001 Islamic terror attacks on the World Trade Center as just an “incident.”
Pelosi’s statement caused instant outrage among critics — and with good reason. The Sep. 11th radical Islamic terror attack was the deadliest attack ever on U.S. soil. It claimed the lives of over 3,000 innocent Americans, and that day’s painful memory still lives with the entire nation.
In an effort to make Trump look bad, Pelosi spit on that painful memory.
Nancy Pelosi refers to the 9/11 terror attacks that killed nearly 3,000 Americans as just an "incident."

“We have a responsibility to protect our borders. All of our borders. Let’s make no mistake about that. Democrats have been strong on that point. All of our borders,” Pelosi said.
“In fact, I said to some of you before, when we had the 9/11 incident and the commission was formed — and they made their recommendations — they made recommendations to protect America, but the Republicans would never take them up,” she said. “And some of it was about our borders. The Republicans would never take them up.”
Trump has promised to build a wall on the U.S.-Mexico border to reduce illegal immigration, sex trafficking, and radical Islamic terror. ISIS has been caught multiple times trying to smuggle foreign terrorists through Mexico.
It seems the lives of millions of Americans aren’t as important to Pelosi as playing political theater.
But is that really surprising if Pelosi thinks the slaughter of 3,000 innocent Americans is nothing but an unfortunate “incident”?
Democrats want open borders, folks, no matter what the cost.
It’s why the upcoming November elections matter so much.
