Anyone who watches Democrats spew their talking points on CNN knows they’re obsessed with one thing: how much they hate President Donald Trump. But one of their leaders just gave a speech that has us wondering if she’s lost her marbles.
Rep. Maxine Waters, the leader of the impeach Trump movement, admitted last weekend that getting Trump is “all I can think about” – and rolling cameras caught every moment of her awkward rant.
Waters accepted an award last weekend from the Stonewall Young Democrats when she said she’s so obsessed with the president that she wakes up in the middle of the night to plot against him.
“This deplorable, despicable human being that occupies the White House should not be there,” the California Democrat said.
We’re not sure where else the winner of a presidential election should be.
But Waters told the young Democrats, “When I compare what you’re doing with what we have in Washington, D.C., in the highest office in the land, I wake up in the middle of the night and all I can think about is: I’m gonna get him. I’m gonna get him. I’m gonna get him.”
Some Democrat campaign consultants have told the party to stop talking about impeachment, because it’s costing them voters – but Mad Maxine said she doesn’t care.
Then she tore off into another screed, repeating herself over, and over again.
“As you know, there’s a difference in how some of our leadership talk about how we should handle all of this,” she said. “They say, ‘Maxine, please don’t say impeachment anymore.’ And when they say that, I say, ‘Impeachment, impeachment, impeachment, impeachment, impeachment, impeachment, impeachment, impeachment.’”
Waters repeated herself even more when she admitted that she’s already got plans to impeach Vice President Mike Pence when he becomes president, after Trump’s impeachment.
“Look, one at a time. You knock one down, one at a time. You knock one down,” she said.
“We’ll be ready for Pence. We’ll get him, too,” she said.
Waters didn’t just repeat words and phrases 3-to-8 times apiece – she also threatened physical violence.
The ultra-leftist Democrat has already repeatedly incited her party to confront anyone who works in the Trump administration.
“If you see anyone from (the Trump administration) in a restaurant, in a department store, at a gasoline station — you get out and you create a crowd,” Waters said. “And you push them, and you tell them they’re not welcome – anyone, anywhere.”
Waters said Democrats should “harass them until they decide that they’re going to tell the president, ‘No, I can’t hang with you.’”
Now she says Trump twisted her words – and then confessed that she really does incite violence with almost every waking breath.
“The lying president said that I had threatened all of his constituents,” Waters told the Stonewall crowd. “I did not threaten his constituents, his supporters. I do that all the time, but I didn’t do it that time.”
There you have it – the most popular woman with the Democrats’ grassroots has nothing to offer except an obsession with Trump, irrational hatred, and a word salad of the same never-ending words and phrases.
This isn’t a political platform; this is a sign of dementia!
The president’s son, Eric Trump, called Waters and her entire party out on its ridiculous revenge pact – and the fact that the Democrats have absolutely nothing to offer to voters.
“People are sick and tired of this nonsense,” Eric told Fox News on Wednesday. “You have (Waters) saying ‘impeach, impeach, impeach.’”
“This is their message? That’s what they are taking to the polls?” Eric asked. “That is not going to win.”
Trump’s son said the Democrats’ agenda amounted to nothing more than “anti-law enforcement, high taxes, and elimination of plastic straws.”
Meanwhile, the economy is buzzing, wages are spiking, and welfare rolls are shrinking every day.
Waters doesn’t belong in the Capitol, but there is a federal institution we could recommend for her.
