A gay Texas pastor who sued Whole Foods alleging that a cake he bought from the grocer had an anti-gay slur written on it in icing has dropped his lawsuit.
Jordan Brown of Austin issued an apology on Monday, saying he was “wrong to pursue this matter and use the media to perpetuate this story.”
Whole Foods vigorously denied the allegation when Brown first came forward in April. The Austin American-Statesman reports that the company released surveillance video that it said showed Brown was lying and filed a counter suit against him.
The company said in a statement Monday that given Brown’s apology and public admission his story was false, it sees “no reason” to move forward with its lawsuit.

Gay rights activists are likely behind a lot of the “homophobic” slurs and insults. The slurs and insults allow them to fundraise off those sympathetic to their cause. They pocket a lot of money and they demonize those opposed to homosexuality at the same time. I know many people who oppose homosexuality. We don’t spend time trying to terrorize or insult gays. We just live our lives with the belief that God made us to be heterosexuals and that’s how we need to live.

Another pastor caught up in a scandal – usually about sex or money or both.

When I first heard this it sounded dumb. If the slur was on there when he paid for it, he would have called the cops, Rev Sharpton, Rev Jackson and anyone else who would listen. What a waste of time, energy and dollars. Whole foods should have pulled the ole Trump sue trick.

Shame on Whole Foods for dropping the counter suit. These “hate crime” hoaxers NEED to be taught a lesson.

I hope Whole Foods at least gets a trespass notice against this supposed preacher. That way if he enters your store in the future he can be charged with burglary. I suppose he would get the opportunity to get to know a lot of gay men then.
