“On the Holmes Front” with Frank Holmes
A full 15 months after leaving her podium as the office White House spokesperson for the Biden-Harris administration, Karine Jean-Pierre has announced her next career gig…and it’s a shocker.
The famously flubbed press secretary is going to Hollywood.
KJP wants to become a darling of the elite entertainment industry, with her name in lights, her credits at the beginning and end of every show, and her bank account full of the kinds of salaries only available in Beverly Hills.
Karine Jean-Pierre has decided she wants to become a producer and writer, and she already has her first two would-be movies will be.
“Her next career chapter, she says, will focus on telling stories that matter — potentially as a producer and writer — while continuing to mentor young people and develop new writing projects,” reported Variety in a recent interview. “Most recently, she acquired the rights to the stories of Alice Dunnigan and Ethel Payne, the first two black women to serve in the White House press corps, and wants Hollywood to tell their stories,”
No one is exactly banging down movie theater doors demanding a movie about anonymous black reporters, but KJP is certain she’ll find a place in Hollywood’s Woke milieu.
“The women asked presidents questions and were often ignored by the boys’ club, and yet so few people know their names,” Jean-Pierre told the movie industry mag. “I recently acquired their books, and I want to help bring their stories to life.”
She even tried to gin up interest in the unknown reporters in November 2023 by naming the new White House press secretary’s podium after the pair.
But no one seems much interested in them—or Jean-Pierre, especially as a writer.
“My career has always been a zigzag,” she said. But it’s mostly zigzagged from irrelevance to failure, and back again.
Her book, Independent, debuted on Amazon at #1,728,594 when it was released last year. (It reportedly worked its way up to #86,817.)
Since then, she mostly took one-off college speaking gigs “on the DEI speaking circuit,” including lectures at Eastern Michigan University, Hofstra University, and Illinois State U (where tickets went for $25 a pop), according to the Washington Free Beacon.
But then the bright lights of Hollywood beckoned, and KJP made an audition.
She was tapped as one of the hosts of 17th annual African American Film Critics Awards on February 8.
A segregated awards show sounded perfect to a woman who bragged about being the nation’s first black, lesbian White House spokesperson.
“We need an opportunity and a space to celebrate ourselves,” she said. “There is real value in telling our journeys so that generations to come can see how brilliant we are.”
Few people ever put “Karine Jean-Pierre” and “brilliant” in the same sentence.
Down, she wanted the world to know she was ready for her close-up. “I don’t want it to be about me,” she told Variety, the humble-brag everyone uses when they want to grab the spotlight.
But KJP triumphantly stood on the stage as one of three emcees, along with American Idol winner Jordin Sparks and comedian Amber Ruffin.
She may have also wanted to host the show due to her physical urges: “My message is to continue to hold each other,” she said. “Ryan Coogler—just touching him would be amazing.”
Maybe she is cut out to be a Hollywood producer.
After all, she’s apparently not cut out to go back to work as a talking head—because no one will have her.
“We were always honest,” she said of her time as Joe Biden’s media mouthpiece. “We always owned up.”
But the facts tell a different story. She repeatedly called the muddle-minded Joe Biden “sharp.” She said he only bombed in his June 2024 debate against President Donald Trump because he “had a cold. He had a hoarse voice.”
All the videos showing Biden wandering off at official events, or freezing dumbfounded, or reading his answers from index cards? She insisted those were “deep fakes.”

When asked, she repeatedly said there was absolutely no chance Biden would pardon his son, Hunter, who stands accused of multiple felonies, including a gun violation and influence-peddling during his father’s terms as vice president and president.
Not only did Joe Biden pardon his crack-addicted son, it was the only pardon he signed with his own hand, instead of running it through the autopen (if he was the one who ran the others through the autopen).

Everyone knew it was a politically expedient lie.

After leaving the White House, Karine Jean-Pierre rebranded herself as a political “independent” and, as noted, even made that the name of her low-selling political autobiography.
Maverick Democrat Stephen A. Smith dropped the hammer on KJP.
“I was kind of disgusted” by her party identification flip-flop, said Smith, who eventually began screaming about KJP’s lies and acts of deception.
Those kinds of lies may have cost her the job she really wanted.

Variety noted that people “would have expected her to pivot into cable news or become a political pundit, a common next step for former press secretaries” like Jen Psaki, who hosts her own show on MS NOW. The magazine asked if Jean-Pierre’s cable news “absence was a conscious choice,” or if the networks saw her stuttering incoherence as press secretary and wouldn’t touch her with a 10-foot pole.
That came after the former White House spokesperson reportedly got turned down to take a spot on ABC’s liberal ladies gabfest, The View.
“How dumb do you have to be to get rejected from The View?” asked Megyn Kelly at the time. “It’s horrifying. Can you imagine? She must’ve had to go on some sort of antidepressant after that.”
“Karine Jean Pierre is a total moron,” Kelly added.
As The Horn told you when KJP left the White House last year, Media Research Center expert Curtis Houck said, with her record of lying through her teeth, Karine Jean-Pierre may be “unemployable in TV news.”
So, she’s heading to the liberal bastion of Hollywood—like so many other Democrats.
Barack and Michelle Obama’s production company, Higher Ground Productions, got a Netflix deal worth a reported $50 million.
Hillary Clinton scored a sweet position as a Netflix “executive producer” with Steven Spielberg for a special about women in politics.
A Broadway play, Hillary and Clinton. But the Clinton’s flopped so bad on the great white way that the play closed a month early due to “underwhelming ticket sales.”
Chelsea Clinton made a cool $600,000 by making eight appearances on NBC as a “reporter,” even though she had no journalistic training.
And, of course, Netflix just canceled its contract with Meghan Markle.
KJP was a mediocrity at a time when DEI, CRT, and the Woke mind virus insisted that mediocrities deserve top-paying roles, too.
Under President Trump, those days are over. It may take a little longer for the word to take root in Hollywood, but after a few KJP-produced flops, the message will come through loud and clear. Which is more than any message delivered by Karine Jean-Pierre ever did.
