Huckabee laying groundwork to drop out of race

The crowded field seeking the Republican presidential nomination is almost certain to be less crowded after the upcoming Iowa caucuses.

And one candidate angling to make an exit appears to be former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee.

Huckabee, a favorite among many evangelicals, said recently that if he doesn’t finish in the top three in Iowa, he’s likely to drop out of the race.

“If we can’t come within striking distance of the victory or win it, then I think we recognize that it’s going to be hard to take that onto the other states,” Huckabee said in an interview with Iowa radio personality Simon Conway.

If Huckabee remains true to his word, his campaign should be over soon. He is currently polling no better than sixth in Iowa.

    Huckabee is to be admired. Maybe not presidential but surely there should be a
    place for him in the cabinet. Nice, well spoken Christian and much admired.

      Huckabee would make a great VP , and would bring some much needed common sense to the white house! He shouldn’t drop out just yet, hopefully people are beginning to wake up from their slumber! We need more people like him in our positions of power! He’s a very good man!!

    I could see him as Ambassador to the UN! It might be nice to have some one aware of Bible Prophesy there during the Middle East going nucular!!!

    I think he would make a very good pres. even a great vice pres. hope Trump picks as running mate. They would make a good team.

    Mike Huckabee is a great, great man. He is a man of dignity, honesty, and Christian values. He may be too good to be a president since there is so much lying, cheating, backstabbing, and whatever going on. He would never be a part of that and though he is loved and admired by millions the voters in our country back off of a man who is that good.

    Huckabee Never was Really IN THE RACE …To win The presidency..So it Won`t disturb him at ALL…To Drop out of It. I have no Doubt He is a Nice Man.., But That does NOT make him presidentual Enough to Lead This Country OUT of THE Mess Obama has made of This Country. WE need Someone Who is Tough…AND Thick Skinned, Or we may as well Forget Change. Obama Is so Entrenched It will Require More than A Straight-Shooter TO Back him Out Of THERE. Donald Trump IS the Only One Who is Man Enough To Fill That Bill. Can Anyone Even ”SEE Hillery ”Man enough to Do This ?? She is Just a Female Much like Huckabee,,, Can`t you see the resemblance ??
