“On the Holmes Front,” with Frank Holmes
With investigations adding to his election-year headaches, President Joe Biden may have just committed the most useless crime in political history… and if prosecuted, he could even do time for it.
A new investigation indicates that Biden lied during an interview the president held with the prosecutor who was looking into his family’s sordid financial scandals of bribery and influence-peddling… but what’s crazy is what he lied about.
Biden seems to have made up a story about his role in helping a law firm to defeat a man in a work-related accident… who lost part of his penis.
The president rambled through two days of interviews with Special Counsel Robert Hur last October, including the way he got into politics.
It all started in the 1960s, Biden said, like Sophia on The Golden Girls. Biden had just started working at a prestigious Delaware law firm called Prickett, Ward, Burt & Sanders—when they got a strange case.
“This poor kid is down a hundred-foot vessel, chimney, scraping the hydrogen bubbles off of the inside,” Biden said. Unfortunately, the blue-collar worker “was wearing the wrong pants, wrong jeans, and a spark caught fire, and got caught in the containment vessel.”
The 23-year-old “lost part of his penis and one of his testicles,” Biden told an astonished Hur, according to page 58 of the transcript of their first interview on October 8, 2023.
The company hired Biden’s law firm, and the head of the firm asked Biden to write a memo on the case, the president claimed. Biden said he found out that if the victim has any “slightly contributory negligence”—like wearing the wrong jeans—“you were out.” In other words, the court would dismiss the case against the company.
“I wrote this memo. And son of a b****, it prevailed,” Biden said.
Biden bragged about knifing a eunuch.
But, Biden’s conscience—the guilt of a man who always calls himself a “devout Catholic”—started to get to him, he claimed.
“I looked over at that kid and his wife home with two little kids, and I thought son of a b****, I’m in the wrong business, I’m not made for this.”
Biden ended up working for the prosecutor’s office and getting elected to the Senate at the age of 29.
Biden said he was so driven by guilt that, when the firm’s head invited him to a fancy luncheon at The Wilmington Club, he begged off, saying, “My dad’s coming in today.”
Biden said that little white lie was “the only time I ever lied that I can remember looking somebody in the eye, and I mean (that) sincerely.”
But a new investigation show Joe Biden lied about everything, including the penis.
The Washington Free Beacon actually located the case Biden seems to be thinking about... and Joe Biden might be the one going down in flames.
The case involved a welder named Joseph Januszewski, who worked for Delaware’s Catalytic Construction Company. In May 1962, he scrubbed the inside of a chimney at the Stauffer Chemical plant in Delaware when a fire broke out, and he had to have part of his body amputated, including part of his thigh.
There’s no record he ever lost any part of his penis or a testicle.
In the end, a jury awarded the injured welder the outstanding sum of $315,000—the equivalent of $2.8 million in today’s dollars—but there’s just one problem: The verdict came in April 1968.
Joe Biden didn’t start working for the law firm until at least that June.
The entire case Joe Biden takes credit for winning took place while he was a wet-behind-the-ears college student.
Januszewsk filed suit in May 1964—when the 21-year-old Biden was a junior at the University of Delaware.
By the time the case was finished, Biden was graduating 76th out of a class of 85 at Syracuse Law School.
“More evidence that Joe Biden lied to Special Counsel Robert Hur?” asked the Republican Party’s official account on Elon Musk’s social media platform, X.
The law firm says it doesn’t have any records from that time… and so it can’t say whether or not the story is true.
“We are familiar with the passage in Mr. Biden’s autobiography discussing our firm and a civil action William Prickett and Mr. Biden worked on,” said a spokesman for Biden’s old law firm (which is now called Prickett, Jones & Elliot).
“Unfortunately we cannot confirm that the Januszewski matter is the one to which the autobiography refers. Any records from the case, and other matters the firm handled in the late 1960s, are well outside the time period of our records retention policy and have likely been destroyed.”
Destroyed—just like Hunter Biden’s gun application, where he lied that he had no addiction issues.
That’s bad news for Biden, because it looks like he told a lie—the most useless lie ever told—to a special prosecutor, which violates federal law.
The U.S. legal code, in 18 U.S.C. § 1001, orders that anyone who “makes any materially false, fictitious, or fraudulent statement or representation” shall be “imprisoned not more than 5 years.”
“There’s no requirement that the statement be under oath,” notes Helen Klein Murillo at the Lawfare Institute, in coordination with the Brookings Institution. Murillo was editor of the Harvard Law Review at the time, so she’s probably not riding the Trump Train.
It’s not clear whether Hur will prosecute, since he declined to bring charges for the more serious crime of Biden taking classified documents and storing them in his insecure garage.
Hur wrote in his official report that he didn’t take Biden to court because the president comes across as “sympathetic, well-meaning elderly man with a poor memory.”
Contrary to Biden’s story, it wasn’t exactly the only time he ever lied. Biden lied about the lies he made in the report.
He attacked Hur, saying the prosecutor included a “reference that I don’t remember when my son died. How in the Hell dare he raise that?!” screamed Biden. “Frankly, when I was asked the question, I thought to myself whether it was any of their damn business.”
But the report shows Biden raised his son’s death himself, while running out the clock by telling Hur a tale about Obama giving his support to Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign in 2016 instead of Biden’s.
“What month did Beau die?” Biden asked himself, trying to come up with the answer. “Oh, God, May 30th—?”
Two aides in the room had to tell him his son died in 2015.
“Was it 2015 he had died?” Biden asked the aides. Hur didn’t say a word.
He lied about Beau Biden dying in Iraq, and about his helicopter almost being shot down by terrorists.
“Joe Biden lied at least 15 times about his family’s business schemes,” according to the House Oversight and Accountability Committee.
Joe Biden lives in a fantasy world, even as he’s turning the American Dream into a nightmare.
It’s time he paid the price, now or in November.
