Israel’s postal service is delivering letters to a unique address that hasn’t changed in thousands of years.
Ahead of the Jewish high holidays, it took some of the dozens of letters it receives each year that are addressed to God and delivered them to the Western Wall, where visitors traditionally place handwritten notes of prayer and wishes in the cracks between its stones.
The postal service says the letters arrived from all over the world, including Russia, China, France, Nigeria and the United States. Most had no return address and were addressed to “God,” ”Jesus” or “Our Dear Father in Heaven.”
The Western Wall, located in Jerusalem’s Old City, is a retaining wall of the compound where the biblical temples. It is one of the Holy Land’s most-visited sites.

This country is messed up it is so bad you wonder where you can find the good government people that will be honest and keep serving United States with dignity and honesty. I have lived 80 years and I can’t believe the way the word is today so much grief, sadness, destruction, dishonesty, shootings, danger every place you look. I feel sad for our young people growing up into a world the way it is today. You have to watch your back and look over your shoulder always because of the fear of something happening. Our country needs a lot of help in so many ways it is pathetic because there is so much wrong. I truly believe when you start taking God and religion out of schools and public events too
much danger comes and we really need to get back to a world where there can be peace and harmony among all people and people need to get back to church and get omn their knees and pray to God and ask for help for our country. He God created this world and I firmly believe H can be an answer to all denominations of faith but don’t shut God out.
We need God in prayer meetings before importnat events and we need more people to trust in God. Our children, grandchildren need a
a strong country to grow up in. We need to start praying more for honest good caring people to run our country who have pride in United States and the wonderful freedom our military and police provide for our safety. With this election coming up soon I pray all people will vote wisely and pray before they vote really think about what is best for our Country . We need to make America great again and with God’s help we can do this and be proud once again to say i AM AN MERICAN AND SO PROUD OF MY COUNTRY. God bless our country and help each
