A Detroit-based company has donated five bullet-resistant vests for police dogs in the city.
Detroit police Sgt. Michael Woody says the department is thankful for the support from Strategic Staffing Solutions for the vests, which will be displayed at an event Tuesday.
The Detroit News reports that before receiving the vests the dogs worked unprotected. Woody says Detroit’s K-9 team sniffs out explosives and narcotics, but that the animals do not to apprehend criminals as in other departments.
Woody notes that Strategic Staffing Solutions helps out “when things get tight.” In June, the company made a 3-year commitment to continue sponsoring the city police department’s unit of horses. Support includes funding for veterinary bills, hay, grooming and feeding.

Very glad to hear this fantastic
this is GREAT !!! i wish all police dogs in the country get protection like these guys !!! police need donations & a wealthy benefactor to protect these great animals !
That is such a nice thing for Strategic Staffing Solutions to do. I’ll bet it’s owned by Christians.
I was so elated to read the four-legged police officers in Detroit have been given protective
armor ……… all cities, towns, and counties should be presented with such protection for
their K-9 Units.
Why were the Clintons provided with protective armor and who, along with Obama,
provided this protection. They should all be locked away!
