Shailene Woodley’s arrest at a protest in North Dakota has been livestreamed to fans on Facebook.

The “Divergent” actress was livestreaming her protest Monday of the four-state Dakota Access pipeline for a total of more than two-and-a-half hours Monday before her arrest by local authorities. Toward the end of a two hour video, Woodley is told by a law enforcement officer that she is being arrested for criminal trespassing. The video showing what appeared to be a peaceful protest has been viewed more than 3 million times.

Morton County Sheriff’s Department spokesman Rob Keller says Woodley was one of 27 protesters arrested Monday. She was also charged with engaging in a riot.

Woodley has been an outspoken opponent of the $3.8 billion project.

You make a movie and the liberal mindset takes hold and you think you know whats best for the rest of us! Shut the hell up! We should be supporting anything that moves our country closer to energy independence so we cab stop buying oil from those who want to kill us.

She probably lives in a mansion that uses more energy than 10 working class people’s homes.

      AT WHAT COST?

If you’re talking about the ‘cost’ to the environment, besides some turned-up dirt, there is NONE. The COST of building the pipeline is the ONLY ‘cost’, and the influx of jobs and spending money to the local economies involved is hardly a negative factor. And whatever cute, fuzzy little animals, bugs or weird looking chickens that live in the zone will come back after construction is finished and everyone leaves…just like the caribou THRIVES in the relative warmth radiating from the Alaskan pipeline do.
Tell me you can’t see the incomparable safety and efficiency of oil running through a PIPE to the refinery
instead of hurtling through towns and cities on a diesel-guzzling TRAIN, rolling on decades-old tracks, going 60 or 80 MPH. All it would take is one drunk parked on the track to cause a REAL environmental disaster.

Prosecute her to the fullest extent of the law and this time lock her up. Start making these idiots pay for the cost of law enforcement personnel that their unlawful actions cost the tax payer!! Although I am sure that she’ll leave the court in her gas hog of a vehicle as it takes her to a private jet that burns more fuel than my truck does in a year.

    opinions:
Are Americans all going nuts? How many good people are out of work Due to this pipeline? How many could be working<paying taxes if the pipeline was being built. (keystone) Any new pipelines can be built ecologocoly safe and sane. Maybe protesting BLM or terriost activities would make more sense today/with the country in so much turmoil. Maybe try to some good deed -like helping homeless veterans, donate to St. Judes! there is much to be done that would have a positive impact. This sort of thing only hurts, jobs, the economy (unnecesarlly tying up police from other more serious things.)

If I were in charge I would shoot them all, not really as I don’t want to go to jail, but I would prefer they be disappeared.
