One of Fox News’ most popular shows, “Fox & Friends”, has announced a replacement for one of their most controversial co-hosts.

The cable news network surprised fans on Friday when they announced that they had mutually parted ways with Jedediah Bila, a star of the show’s weekend offering.

On Monday, Fox News released a statement naming her permanent replacement — the former reality show star Rachel Campos-Duffy, who was a part of MTV’s “Real World: San Fransico” in 1994.

Since then, of course, Campos-Duffy has become a respected journalist. She is married to another former reality television star that has become a public figure: former Rep. Sean Duffy, R-WI, who was on the cast of MTV’s “Real World: Boston.” Duffy resigned from office in 2019.

In addition to joining “Fox & Friends Weekend,” Campos-Duffy — a mother of nine — also hosts the Fox Nation show “Moms.” She will debut on “Fox & Friends” on June 12, joining co-hosts Pete Hegseth and Will Cain.

“The FOX & Friends Weekend team is amazing and I look forward to hosting alongside my friends, Pete and Will every Saturday and Sunday. I am confident we’ll continue to deliver the number one-rated cable news morning show in America,” Campos-Duffy said in a statement.

Fox News also announced Monday that they brought on Lawrence Jones as an enterprise reporter for the network’s weekday “Fox & Friends” show.

“The success of FOX & Friends can be attributed to the program covering stories Americans care about with relatable co-hosts and reporters they can trust,” FOX News CEO Suzanne Scott said in a statement.

“Over the years, our audience has connected with Rachel and Lawrence through their frequent guest appearances and as fill-in hosts on the curvy couch. We are delighted to name them permanent fixtures on our signature morning franchise.”
