Just days after being arrested outside an Ohio strip club, adult film star Stormy Daniels received some very bad news.

Daniels and her husband, Glendon Crain, have filed for divorce, Daniel’s lawyer Michael Avenatti revealed Monday.

“My client Stormy Daniels and her husband Glen have decided to end their marriage. A petition for divorce was filed last week, the accuracy of which is vehemently disputed. Stormy’s daughter remains her number one priority. She kindly asks for privacy for the sake of her family,” Avenatti announced on Twitter.

Daniels frequently makes headlines over her public spat with President Donald Trump and his former lawyer Michael Cohen, who she is suing to get out of a $130,000 nondisclosure payment.

Details on Daniels’ story about her unproven encounter with Trump have changed multiple times since she began making her claims.

Critics have openly wondered if the case has worn heavily on Crain, who is reportedly an intensely private person.

After Daniels was challenged by a conservative radio host to have a profile sketch made of a man she claimed threatened her over the affair in March, Crain was thrust into the spotlight.
