The witch hunt for alleged sexual predators in Hollywood and Washington, D.C. reached a fever pitch after the ouster of NBC News star Matt Lauer — and right on cue, liberal celebrity Rosie O’Donnell pushed the accusations way overboard.
In fact, O’Donnell’s attack was in such bad taste, critics say it’s illegal.
On Wednesday, President Donald Trump responded to the firing of NBC’s Lauer to call for an overhaul in the mainstream media.
The president tweeted —

Trump’s comments were liked by over 98,000 social media users — but not O’Donnell, an outspoken rival of the president during his days in Hollywood.
Instead, the woman Trump had previously labeled a “loudmouth” and a “pig” was driven into a frenzy by the president’s statement.
She responded with a disgusting — and possibly illegal — accusation against Trump.

Libel laws in the United States say that publicly pushing fake accusations against someone — even the President of the United States — is illegal… and Trump could potentially sue her for it.
Since Trump’s election, things have not been going well for the left-wing actress. After she was slammed by critics for attacking Barron Trump in the spring, O’Donnell has been steadily unraveling.
She has attacked Trump voters, suffered embarrassing public meltdowns, been scorned by other Hollywood stars, and has complained that Trump’s presidency is literally killing her.
In 2016, O’Donnell and scores of other liberal celebrities vowed to move to Canada if Trump was elected president.
She can afford the plane ticket… so what is she waiting for?
Perhaps O’Donnell just needs to be reminded what the president thinks about her —
