California Congresswoman Maxine Waters has made a name for herself since President Donald Trump was sworn into office. Waters travels the country and never misses the opportunity to promise the impeachment of the president — including during her friend’s eulogy.
Last week, Waters took her anti-Trump hysterics to the next level and vowed to “take Trump out” to a cheering crowd of Democrats.
Critics say it was a thinly-veiled assassination threat — and Waters’ congressional opponent, Omar Navarro, is demanding her immediate arrest.
Navarro, who is running against Waters in California’s 43rd congressional district, tweeted the following Sunday —

Video of Waters’ threat began circulating online Friday, and critics say it could incite violence among liberal extremists.
“It is not exactly obvious what Waters meant by ‘take out Trump tonight.’ That is what makes the remarks so careless and dangerous,” Townhall reported.
“Opaque statements like those are what madmen cling to and use as fodder for violent rampages. The left criticizes Trump for his use of questionable terms, but routinely ignores statements like these.”
Frequently, celebrities and Democratic lawmakers use coded language to encourage supporters to engage in politically-motivated violence — and it works.
In June, an “alt-left” ideologue acted on the calls for violence and attempted to massacre Republican lawmakers training for a charity baseball game.
It’s time to hold Waters and her political allies accountable for this dangerous rhetoric.
