“On the Holmes Front” with Frank Holmes
Democrats have spent a generation forcing you to pay their voters. It’s a move that’s so blatantly illegal that they don’t even hide it anymore.
But President Donald Trump and Vice President J.D. Vance just dropped a nuclear bomb on the liberals’ political rip-off nationwide, and it could have a huge impact beginning with the midterm elections.
The Trump administration announced the steps it had taken to eliminate Medicaid and Medicare fraud on Wednesday in a speech chock-full of actions zeroing in on fraud and grift in the Democratic Party’s deepest strongholds.
The first action cuts the legs out from under California Governor Gavin Newsom…and the Fake News media are afraid to report on it.
The media reported in March that Vance’s task force suspended about 80 shady, California-based Medicaid businesses posing as “hospice” providers.
But The Horn has learned the figure is now 10 times that size.
CMS has identified and ended payments to almost 800 phony Medicaid providers in Los Angeles alone—773 hospices and 23 home health agencies (HHAs). Trump officials got suspicious when they realized one out of every three hospices is America is located in Los Angeles.
Even as unsafe as Karen Bass has made L.A., one-third of Americans don’t die there yet.
And this fraud is so clearly illegal, the suspects haven’t bothered to contest it.
Of the 800 businesses kicked off Medicaid, “at least 780 are not even trying to claim that they’re not fraudulent,” stated an amazed Vice President J.D. Vance, who leads the Task Force to Eliminate Fraud.
“We have less than 20 that have complained,” confirmed Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) Administrator Dr. Mehmet Oz. “We’re not even sure they’re legitimate.”
All told, the task force plans to shut down half of the roughly 1,800 hospices in Los Angeles.
Then the administration hit Newsom where it hurts the most: in the state treasury.
My oldest brother has severe autism, and the services provided through Medicaid were essential to our family.
The waitlists can extend years for less severe cases. I witnessed fraud in the system firsthand.

Vance announced the administration has suspended between $1.3 billion and $1.4 billion in taxpayer dollars to California over Medicaid fraud.
That will take a bite out of the 2028 Democratic presidential hopeful’s estimated Medicaid budget of $222 billion, which Newsom already planned to start handing out in the new fiscal year beginning July 1.
But with as many actions as he took targeting the West coast, Vance made clear he has begun sweeping clean the Democrat-run vote-buying machines from sea to shining sea.
The $1.3 billion from California comes in addition to $243 million in Medicaid payments the Trump administration has stopped making to Tim Walz’s Minnesota due to Somali-run fronts posing as daycares.
If stealing taxpayer money were an Olympic sport, Minnesota would win the gold medal, said Vance, while California would win silver, and New York or Maine would come out the “bronze medalist.”
But Vance revealed that numerous Democratic-dominated states including “California, Illinois, New York, Maine, and Colorado” have “insufficient safeguards and weak oversight that “increase the risk of large-scale fraud” to the taxpayer.
CMS announced this week that it has already applied higher scrutiny to states it considers at ripe for gaming the federal system or submitting improper payments, including Arizona, California, Georgia, Illinois, Nevada, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, and Texas.
The Horn told you about about investigations into massive welfare grift in Democrat-controlled Maine, Minnesota, and elsewhere.
The Daily Wire blew the lid off of Ohio, where seven buildings in Columbus owned by the same New Jersey-based real estate company house 288 “home health care” companies that have cost taxpayers $250 million in Medicaid payments over a six-year time frame.
The day of Vance’s speech, Wednesday, is the same day the Republican-led Minnesota House Fraud Prevention and State Agency Oversight Committee 84-page report. It states in bold letters, “Democrats Have Created a Culture of Fraud.” Democratic Governor and 2024 Vice Presidential nominee Tim Walz specifically “allowed the fraud explode to unprecedented levels,” it says.
The ill-gotten taxpayer funding goes to turn out Democratic voters each election, including this November.
The former Democratic Governor of Illinois Rod Blagojevich publicly stated he “knows how the Dem(ocratic) Party works” and believes Democrats use fraud to buy votes.
“This sounds like something a conservative Congress should prioritize cutting funding for PERMANENTLY in a reconciliation bill,” said Kevin Roberts, president of the conservative Heritage Foundation.
All Democratic governors could say goodbye to taxpayer dollars filtered through the U.S. government—and that’s just the beginning.
Dr. Phil can’t hold back his anger after Dr. Oz breaks down the scale of fraud taking place in the U.S. healthcare system.
“They’re charging $640 an hour for services that could be performed by a high school graduate.”

Dr. Oz announced no new passengers would get to board the gravy train. Oz told reporters about a six-month moratorium on new Medicare enrollments for hospice and home health care providers.
Democrats howled at President Trump’s actions, but they didn’t complain when Bill Clinton did the same thing, temporarily preventing new HHA enrollments.
Not only did Vance stop Democrats from shifting federal dollars to their constituents, he required blue states actively to work against it.
The federal government already pays each state to run a Medicaid Fraud Control Unit, but some liberal states have been pocketing the money without any real investigations.
New York ferreted out just nine cases of fraud last year, one-quarter as many as tiny Indiana.
Hawaii prosecuted zero fraudsters over a number of years.
This week, the administration sent a letter to all 50 states’ Medicaid programs requiring them to prove they are fighting fraud or lose federal funding for the investigative units and, down the line, more money yet.
This is a nationwide squeeze on fraud, and Democrats like Newsom will choke on it.
“Rather than haphazard fraud mitigation, the Task Force is focusing agencies’ efforts on target programs where spending is high, but anti-fraud protections are low,” said Vance. Trump has started “establishing fraud indicators and analyzing data to detect patterns of fraud — things like unreasonable growth, impossible services, and other hallmarks of fraud.”
The Left has screamed like a child caught with his hand in the cookie jar. MS NOW (formerly MSNBC) called the Trump administration’s decision to prosecute widespread illegality among Somali immigrants living in Minnesota “nakedly racist.” But Republicans aren’t shaking in fear at phony charges of “racism,” anymore—especially if they happen to be members of a minority group.
“We will prosecute and prosecute without fear to deter this kind of behavior,” promised Vivek Ramaswamy, Republican candidate for governor of Ohio.
No wonder one commentator called Wednesday’s speech “the biggest anti-fraud announcement of the Trump administration.”
The veep added that it’s especially evil to steal from programs that help the poor and needy, like some members of his own Appalachian family, who truly need these services.
The threat to the Medicaid program isn’t enforcement; “it’s the fraudsters raiding that program in the first place,” Vance told an enthusiastic crowd. “You have been fleeced by your own government for far too long, and we are stopping it!”
The rip-off artists have angered health care agents who truly wish to comfort the dying. “How do you put a hospice in a burrito stand? How do you put a hospice in a retail store?” asked Sheila Clark, president and CEO of the California Hospice and Palliative Care Association, during a hearing of the House Ways and Means Committee on April 22.
And inquiring minds have another question.

“The real question is this: Why didn’t the Biden administration find any of this?” asked Ward Clark of RedState.com. “The answer is likely because they weren’t looking for it.”
“What a difference an election makes!” he said.
And ending Democratic fraud will make an impact on the midterms, the 2028 presidential election, and elections at every level of government for years or decades to come.
