President Donald Trump has ordered his officials to get to the bottom of the enormous fraud reaching from Somali-owned “daycares” into the pocket of every American taxpayer. But newly uncovered documents viewed by The Horn prove the grift is wider, deeper, and goes far higher than ever imagined — and that the Biden administration knew about it, yet did nothing.
Now we know the corruption goes all the way to the top of two governments on multiple continents on different sides of the Atlantic Ocean.
Undercover investigators diverting potentially billions of dollars in federal taxpayer-funded programs from poor, hungry, or vulnerable children to foreign-born con artists… and some of it to the al-Qaeda-linked radical Islamic terrorist group al-Shabaab.
But a Somalian elected official blew the lid off another level of corruption.
Somali government officials stole food meant for the hungry, used U.S. foreign aid to enrich their friends and cronies, and even used funds subsidized by taxpayers to buy automatic machine guns, he says.
Dr. Abdillahi Hashi Abib sent the Biden administration more than a dozen letters documenting somewhere between $3.2 to $3.6 billion in “direct and indirect taxpayer fraud,” according to The Daily Caller, which broke the story.
Officials in Somalia stole aid directly or mismanaged funds that the World Bank placed in Somali government banking institutions, according to the Somali lawmaker.
A World Bank agency—the International Development Association, or IDA—handed 22 projects totaling a whopping $2 billion to Somali government officials’ family members.
Think Hunter Biden eating bananas and rice.
IDA got $62 billion from U.S. taxpayers, which makes up 20 percent of its total donations.
In a July 2023 letter sent to at least seven Biden administration officials or agencies — including the Somalian branch of USAID — Abib called out his colleagues for their “mismanagement of this illegal agency.” Somalia “is not a cash-cow” or “a place for a few someones to make a lot of money” without any “accountability or professional job evaluations.”
The fact that the last Democratic administration turned a blind eye to Somalis stealing hard-earned taxpayers’ dollars is bad enough. But what those foreigners spent your money on is really turning heads.
The governor of the Central Bank skimmed money out of the bank to buy “pistols, gun(s), AK-47(s) and ammunition on the black market,” said Abib in a June 23, 2024, letter copied to the U.S. Embassy.
That level of massive graft is “a good example of why far-right parties are winning elections; (voters) are tired of their taxpayers’ money enriching a few (inside the government’s) trusted inner circle,” he wrote.
The letters to Biden-Harris officials piled up. In all, Abib sent 16 letters to the Democratic administration from February 2023 to July 2024—all on Biden’s watch.
“Biden Deputy Secretary of the Treasury Wally Adeyemo was carbon-copied on three of Abib’s letter,” reported The Daily Caller. “The U.S. Embassy in Somalia and USAID received 16 and 13 letters, respectively.”
Yet the rip-off continued until President Trump rode into town.
The Trump administration worked with the Republican chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee to cut off some of the embezzled funds last year.
The GOP acted promptly when the Somali National Army’s special forces, the Danab Brigade, “stole rations and Somalia’s government did nothing about it. U.S. taxpayers shouldn’t keep funding corruption,” explained Senator James Risch, R-Idaho. He cut that money off despite the Fake News media’s deepest outrage.
The real scandal isn’t just wasted taxpayer dollars. It’s that the problem isn’t confined to dementia-riddled Joe Biden. Additional evidence proves that turning a blind eye to documented complaints about Somali fraud runs throughout the entire Democratic Party.

Congress learned this month that Minnesota Governor Tim Walz knew all about the Minneapolis fraud crisscrossed government programs and did everything he could to stop…whistleblowers from getting the word out.
Aside from federal food and daycare centers embezzled by “learing centers,” con men targeted the state’s program to house the elderly.
Fraud in the Housing Stabilization Services ballooned from $3 million in 2020 to $104 million in 2024.
Walz’s “response to staff was alarming,” said an unsigned letter submitted in congressional testimony from Republican Minnesota state Rep. Kristin Robbins earlier this month. “Fraud concerns … were strongly dismissed and numerous employees experienced serious retaliation.”
For instance, Walz fired Eric Grumdahl, assistant commissioner for the Department of Human Services, in September shortly before he was supposed to testify about the housing program to legislative leaders.
The sheer amount of fraud, possibly committed with Democratic officials’ knowledge, boggles the mind.
Nick Shirley, whose investigation of Somali-run daycares in Minneapolis broke the fraud investigation wide open, put the total level of grift in Tim Walz’s state at “anywhere from $80 billion to $100 billion.”
That’s hardly a drop in the bucket of total national grift, waste, abuse, and self-dealing. Similar investigations are ongoing in Maine and Indiana, as well as Seattle and Columbus.
And Somali fraud is only a fraction of total Democratic grift. As The Horn reported in 2022, President Joe Biden’s so-called “American Rescue Plan” gave $1.3 billion in stimulus checks to prison inmates.
Thanks to “fraud,” wrote a from the Government Accountability Office, “the federal government could lose between $233 billion and $521 billion annually.” In five years, that adds up to $2.6 trillion.
Conservative website The Center Square estimates roughly $3 trillion in overall federal government fraud. That means 10 percent of the $1,400 stimulus checks the government cut during the COVID pandemic were cashed by convicted crooks, IRS Commissioner Charles Rettig confirmed in a letter to Congressman Don Bacon, R-Neb.
The good news is that the Trump administration is “taking decisive action to clean up the rampant welfare fraud allowed by Joe Biden and Tim Walz,” a Trump Treasury spokesperson told The Daily Caller. “Billions of dollars intended for feeding hungry children, housing disabled seniors and providing services for children in need were diverted to benefit Somali fraud rings.” Abib called the Trump administration’s decisive action “the right thing to do.”
The bad news is the liberals’ money laundering scheme has rigged elections and cost taxpayers royally for decades.
Cutting off the flow of your money to Democratic voters is a first step to reclaiming “our democracy.” But after decades upon decades of vote-buying, Americans have to wonder: Is it too late to do the right thing?
