$3 trillion in federal fraud uncovered suddenly!?

“On the Holmes Front” with Frank Holmes

An explosive new report shows the extent of government fraud is several magnitudes more than currently reported — and the consequences could end the career of a top 2028 Democratic presidential candidate.

Investigative journalists did a deep-dive into total federal corruption and found an almost-incomprehensible amount of grift, fraud, and abuse nationwide.

At the same time, a top federal prosecutor has crowned a blue state governor America’s reigning “king of fraud” and warned that legal “accountability is coming.”

The Trump administration may be on the verge of sinking its most powerful opponent and saving taxpayers trillions of dollars at the same time.

President Trump snapped to attention when conservative journalist Nick Shirley uncovered the massive scandal of Somali daycare fraud in Minneapolis—some of which funded the Islamic terrorist group al-Shabaab.

Since then, he has cut off funding to fraud-prone programs and claimed the scalp of one 2028 Democratic presidential hopeful.

The Horn reported last March that Minnesota Governor Tim Walz was gearing up a 2028 presidential campaign, telling an interviewer “I would certainly consider” throwing his hat in the ring.

But Shirley’s video hit over the holidays, and Walz announced he had dropped his bid for a third term as Minnesota governor on the first working day of the new year.

Shirley estimated Minnesota fraud alone at “anywhere from $80 billion to $100 billion” — and a new report could prove that’s just a drop in the bucket.

“Whatever the fraud that has been uncovered (in Minnesota) is doubtless a fraction of the fraud occurring nationwide,” said Matt Weidinger of the American Enterprise Institute.

Journalists at The Center Square combed through 2,500 DOJ press releases, statements, or fact sheets about federal fraud since 2020 and found fraudsters had fleeced taxpayers for as much as $3 trillion.

Most of the grift comes from three programs: Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid — and it got far worse under President Joe Biden’s administration.

In the first six months of 2024, Joe Biden’s last full year in office, fraud in Medicaid, Medicare, and the military healthcare insurance program Tricare came to $14.5 billion — more than twice the fraud uncovered in September 2020, shortly before President Trump left office.

There wasn’t more fraud during President Trump’s first year in office: His administration tried harder to root it out.

Government reports show that bureaucrats appear to be aware of the grift, but it keeps going on year after year.

“No area of the federal government is immune to fraud. We estimated that the federal government could lose between $233 billion and $521 billion annually,” read a 2024 report from the Government Accountability Office.

Over five years, $521 billion in annual fraud adds up to $2.61 trillion…but experts agree that figure undercounts the total number of dollars being ripped off.

“That’s fraud that has been identified and investigated, so it represents a fraction of the actual fraud that has occurred or is occurring,” Linda Miller, president and co-founder of the Program Integrity Alliance, told Center Square.

There appear to be deep-blue ripoffs in every blue state in America—a patchwork of Minnesota’s dotting Democratic America as completely at 10,000 lakes cover Gov. Walz’s beautiful state.

New evidence indicates that California Governor Gavin Newsom is in the corruption up to his perfectly coiffed hairdo—and he may be the next Democrat to fall.

Evidence hiding in plain sight points toward “massive fraud in California,” Rep. Kevin Kiley, R-Calif., recently told Newsmax host Greta Van Susteren.

The lies and theft are everywhere, he said.

Kiley said one of every three community college applications is fraudulent—1.2 million in all.

Grifters made $32 billion ripping off COVID-19 pandemic funding.

They stole another $24 billion intended to “fight homelessness,” which has only gotten worse in the Golden State, he said.

Then, he pointed out, there’s $18 billion to build high-speed rail without any track in sight and another $650 million for a 911 system that officials eventually scrapped.

The Horn also reported that, “according to the Department of Government Efficiency, California was responsible for $305 million of a reported $382 million in fraudulent unemployment payments since 2020.”

Things are bad, and Democratic auditors in the state say it’s only getting worse.

“The number of (California state) agencies classified as high risk—meaning there is rampant fraud, abuse, mismanagement—has doubled during Gavin Newsom’s tenure from four agencies to eight agencies,” including SNAP, Medicaid, and other insurance benefits, Kiley told Fox News the day after Christmas.

“California is, under this governor, the fraud capital of the United States, and this is the model Governor Newsom wants to take to the rest of the country,” he said.

Now, the facts are coming to light, and ta federal prosecutor has said the legal walls may be closing in on Newsom.

Newsom denies California is the Fraud Capital of America, saying "Kiley is wrong." A U.S. attorney for the Trump administration called Newsom “the king of fraud himself.”

”He has reigned over more fraud than we’ve seen in American history,” declared First Assistant U.S. Attorney for the Central District of California Bill Essayli earlier this month.

The Justice Department has already indicted Newsom’s former chief of staff, Dana Williamson, on 23 felonies, including conspiracy to commit wire fraud, bank fraud, conspiracy to defraud the United States, and obstruction of justice, among other crimes.

Williamson reportedly conspired with many other Democratic officials to steal $225,000 in campaign donations from a dormant account that belonged to former California Attorney General Xavier Becerra (whom Biden tapped to act as his director of Health and Human Services) and $104,000 in PPP loans her public affairs office had no business receiving.

“This is the culture of corruption I’ve warned about,” said Kiley on the House floor.

Investigations into Minnesota fraud have just begun, but they’ve already ended the political career of Tim Walz, who was a shoo-in for reelection and one of the top contenders for the 2028 Democratic presidential nomination.

Gavin Newsom is the 2028 Democratic presidential front runner. Did he just steal his own political future on the installment plan?
