“On the Holmes Front” with Frank Holmes
First, they tried to kill President Donald Trump—twice.
Now, it sure seems like they’re trying to pick off Trump’s Cabinet officials, one by one.
Two of the latest, most dangerous examples of life-threatening “journalism” trace back to the same rotten source: The Washington Post, a Beltway rag with decades-long ties to U.S. and foreign intelligence agencies.
The latest story divulged shockingly specific details about how Army security protects Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth from assassination attempts.
The Post story by Dan Lamothe, titled “Hegseth’s expansive security requirements tax Army protective unit,” tipped off possible shooters to multiple ways they could target the conservative Cabinet member and gave them candid details about the men and women standing armed guard over the Defense secretary and his family.
Lamothe’s article told readers exactly which Army security forces patrol Secretary Hegseth’s home, mentioned his other home in Tennessee, pointed out the state where Hegseth’s second wife lives—and even printed the fact that Hegseth and his family like to go to see the Washington Nationals play ball.
“By publishing details about Secretary Hegseth’s security protocols, The Washington Post is actively putting him and his family in danger for clicks,” Department of Defense Press Secretary Kingley Wilson posted on X Thursday morning. “These ‘reporters’ are disgusting.”

“This isn’t journalism. This is a national security threat,” Wilson later told Newsmax host Chris Salcedo. “We attempted to get The Washington Post to remove sensitive details about Secretary Hegseth’s security protocols and movements frm this piece. They refused, and they published anyway.”
“That puts his children, his extended family, his wife at risk, and agents that put their lives on the line to protect him every single day,” she continued.
Wilson noted that the D.C. newspaper chose to publish the story in the middle of a “tense environment” following President Trump’s two assassination attempts and the bombing of terror sponsor Iran’s nuclear program, and amid a reported 1,000 percent increase in assaults against ICE agents nationwide.
And, believe it or not, the Post’s story about Hegseth’s security detail is actually the second story in its pages that could help gewt Trump administration officials murderered.

The paper ran the Hegseth hit piece just days after it revealed the location of an apartment where Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem—who oversees those threatened ICE agents—stays when she’s in Washington, D.C.: “Quarters 1, a spacious waterfront residence at Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling in Washington.”
After that doxxing, death threats forced Noem to flee her apartment and hide out for a while in secure military housing, according to a department spokesperson.
The Washington Post handing would-be assassins a road map to President Trump’s Cabinet secretaries “is a trend that we’re seeing, and it’s very alarming,” Wilson told Newsmax.
The latest story caused immediate backlash nationwide.
“The far-left Washington Post obviously wants Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth dead,” wrote John Nolte at Breitbart News. “Nothing else explains why the Post published a story 1) revealing the Secretary’s security protocols, and 2) complaining he has too much security.”
Some demanded the newspaper face serious consequences. “If you (doxx) people’s security and print it, you should not be protected under freedom of the press,” wrote one online commentator. “Endangering someone else is not reporting.”
One Republican congresswoman wants more serious action yet. Rep. Anna Paulina Luna, R-Fla., called on the FBI to open an official investigation into the story.
The hazardous Hegseth piece comes after the Fake News media went out of their way to villify Hegseth—who is a born again Christian—as a white supremacist.
Democrats and media talking heads claimed Hegseth sported white power tattoos similar to the Nazi Iron Cross—but it was actually the Jerusalem Cross, a symbol of medieval Christian crusaders in the Middle East. “Contrary to Rumor, Pete Hegseth Does Not Have Nazi Tattoo,” admitted Snopes, whose “fact-checking” has never shown a pro-Trump bias.
Nolte summed up the reporters’ juvenile tantrum over Hegseth’s security detail in these words: “Hey, we in the regime media have spent the better part of a year turning Pete Hegseth into a polarizing figure and national villain, and now you’re getting in the way of somebody assassinating him! No fair.”
The new round of high-profile assassination instructions upped the ante from the first administration, when the Democrats and their friends in the media stirred up left-wing protesters to harass and intimidate Trump officials.
“If you see anybody from that Cabinet in a restaurant, in a department store, at a gasoline station, you get out and you create a crowd. And you push back on them. And you tell them they’re not welcome anymore, anywhere,” said Rep. Maxine Waters, D-Calif., in 2018 standing outside a federal building.
Repeat?

Now, the president’s enemies seem to think their best chance of returning to power lies in giving shooters the logistics they need to eliminate President Trump’s inner circle one by one.
After all, with President Trump back in the White House, the media see their influence dying.
President Trump, Vice President J.D. Vance, White House spokeswoman Karoline Leavitt, and his entire team carry out a real-time execution of the legacy media’s credibility in every interview—right in front of the network’s viewers.
The Left knows what the second Trump administration means for them: Kill or be killed. The media just doesn’t know, in Americans’ eyes, they’re already dead.
