After vowing to stay out of the world of politics, President Trump’s daughter Ivanka Trump could soon be back in the thick of Washington D.C.
Earlier this year, Ivanka Trump made it clear that she had no intention of returning to the White House after working with her father during his first term as president.
However, news has surfaced that Ivanka could be headed back to help the president in the coming weeks.
On Tuesday, UFC boss Dana White announced that the UFC will host the first ever White House fight on July 4, 2026.
According to insiders, Ivanka Trump will be heavily involved — and on the ground at the White House — to make it happen.

According to a Front Office Sports report, White detailed a much-discussed plan to stage a July UFC event on the White House grounds, saying it is “definitely happening.”
The high-profile fight card will be held in conjunction with celebrations of the 250th anniversary of U.S. independence, and White said the event will likely be shown on CBS.
The first of its kind sporting event is in part an outgrowth of the close relationship between White and Trump.
“I feel really good about how that’s progressing,” White told the outlet. “We’re actually heading [to Washington] at the end of August for meetings about it.”
“Ivanka [Trump] is also involved in this,” he added. “We’ll be making a presentation and then will look to hear back about what they like about it and don’t like.”
Details about Ivanka Trump’s involvement with the fight will become more clear in the coming weeks, but right now it’s safe to say that she will be making her return to D.C. and the White House.
During an appearance on the “Skinny Confidential/Him & Her” podcast in January, Ivanka made it clear she’d be staying out of politics this time around, because she knows the “cost” and it’s a price she’s not willing to pay.
“I love policy and impact; I hate politics,” Ivanka said.
“And unfortunately, the two are not separable. There is a darkness in that world that I don’t really want to welcome into mine.”
“It’s a very dark, negative business,” she added. “And some people love, like, the gladiator aspect of it. You know the fight, that was never me.”
During President Trump’s first term, Ivanka was deeply involved in the administration from 2017 to 2021, overseeing various projects, including child trafficking crackdowns and community food bank efforts in collaboration with agricultural partners, among others.
Aside from making a few appearances, including her father’s inauguration in January and appearing during the Super Bowl Champion Philadelphia Eagles’ visit to the White House, Ivanka has been largely absent from the Trump White House this time around.
