Attorney General Pam Bondi is facing fierce criticism from conservatives after the Department of Justice leaked information about Jeffrey Epstein’s death and client book.
Prominent MAGA influencers are now calling for President Donald Trump to dismiss Bondi.
A Justice Department memo leaked to Axios claims investigators found no evidence Epstein blackmailed powerful figures, maintained a “client list,” and insist he committed suicide inside his Manhattan jail cell in 2019.
The findings directly contradict years of conspiracy theories that have circulated widely among Trump’s base — as well as Bondi’s own statements earlier this year.
The backlash erupted immediately after the memo’s release Sunday evening. Elon Musk, Trump’s former ally turned antagonist, trolled the president Monday by posting an image of “The Official Jeffrey Epstein Pedophile Arrest Counter” set to “0000” on his social platform X.
“What’s the time? Oh look, it’s no-one-has-been-arrested-o’clock again …,” Musk said, adding “This is the final straw.”

Conservative influencers with massive followings have also turned their anger toward Bondi.
The Hodge twins, Keith and Kevin Hodge, who have more than three million X followers, declared “Trump has to fire Pam Bondi” after the memo’s release.
“She went on camera and told the world she has the Epstein client list on her desk. Now they say there’s no list???” the twins posted Monday.
Fire Bondi? Can she really be trusted? https://t.co/Zsz6FaKv6S

The criticism stems from Bondi’s February appearance on Fox News, where she claimed an Epstein client list was “sitting on my desk right now to review.”
Days later, she released a dossier titled “Epstein Files: Part One” to conservative social media influencers, but it only contained information already public, with no client list included.
Remember this PsyOp from four months ago? So do I.
Not one of the influencers in this photo has called for the release of the real Epstein files since. Makes you wonder… pic.twitter.com/Yb5WzEDgG0

Far-right influencer Laura Loomer launched a series of posts calling Bondi “Blondie” and a “liar,” while conservative commentator Jack Posobiec criticized the attorney general for failing to deliver after “we were promised everything.”
When will @AGPamBondi be filing to unseal the Epstein files from the criminal case?
We were promised everything

Right-wing filmmaker Robby Starbuck questioned the official suicide narrative, posting “If Jeffrey Epstein had no clients list, didn’t have elites raping girls on his island and hadn’t taken part in any blackmail schemes… Then… Why’d he kill himself? Doesn’t pass the smell test.”
Conservative podcaster Tim Pool posted “Pam Bondi is just keeping the tens of thousands of child porn videos for herself,” while Matt Wallace asked simply —
Didn’t Pam Bondi just say a few months ago that a “TRUCKLOAD” of Epstein files arrived?
What happened to all of those? 🤔

The leaked Axios memo detailed that investigators examined footage from Epstein’s prison cell between 10:40pm on August 9, 2019, when he was locked in, and 6:30am the next day when he was found unresponsive. The administration released both raw and “enhanced” versions of video that reportedly show no one entered the area during that time.
“The FBI enhanced the relevant footage by increasing its contrast, balancing the color, and improving its sharpness for greater clarity and viewability,” the memo states. Investigators found “no incriminating ‘client list'” and “no credible evidence … that Epstein blackmailed prominent individuals.”
The findings put FBI Director Kash Patel and Deputy Director Dan Bongino in an awkward position, as both had previously questioned the Epstein story during their time as MAGA influencers before joining the administration. Both officials have since changed their stance, with Bongino directly telling Fox News in May to accept the official story.
“He killed himself. I’ve seen the whole file,” Bongino claimed.
The Epstein investigation has become a particular flashpoint between Trump and Musk. During their falling out last month, Musk accused Trump of being “in the Epstein files,” and said that “is the real reason they have not been made public.” Musk later deleted the posts, admitting he “went too far.”
The leaked memo states that much of the remaining unreleased Epstein files are related to child sexual abuse, details of Epstein’s victims, and information that could expose innocent people.
“Through this review, we found no basis to revisit the disclosure of those materials and will not permit the release of child pornography,” the memo claimed.
