Cuba embargo loosened – here’s what has changed

The Obama administration is loosening the U.S. trade embargo on Cuba with a new round of regulations allowing American companies to sell to Cuba on credit and export a limited number of products to the Cuban government.

Tuesday’s announcement is President Barack Obama’s third attempt to spur U.S.-Cuba commerce despite an embargo that still prohibits most forms of trade with Cuba. U.S. travel to Cuba has exploded since Obama and Cuban President Raul Castro declared detente in 2014. U.S. hopes of building wider trade between American businesses and Cuba’s private sector have been largely frustrated.

Among a host of other measures, the new regulations allow U.S. firms to offer Cuban buyers credit on sales of non-agricultural goods, addressing a longstanding Cuban complaint about a ban on credit.

    For Cuban Tourism I urge:
Cuban Missile Crisis Museum: FL, DC/VA
Bay of Pigs Museum, FL, DC.
    Hotels renovate or build new.
    Marinas
    Hwy connecting E & W.
& Museum to those victimized by Castro since 1959-2015.
    Update Cruise port.
    Update Airport.
    Improve areas for Tourism.

Honor Cuban Americans fled since 1959 or after to US.

Castro’s stupid decision to put soviet nuclear missiles in Cuba nearly caused WW3. I do not care about his reforms, nor do I care much about his political persecutions given the fact that the government of the US was and is perfectly willing to put in a brutal dictator friendly to US business interests as well.
But Castro was willing to Start a Nuclear world war to destroy most of Humanity to attain his political goals. That is madness. After Bay of Pigs he could have simply used Russian Military assistance to make his army so tough to beat that the US would never invade. Instead he generated a situation where we had to invade. If Kennedy and Khrushchev had not been able to come to this deal most of us now alive would be dead.
However i understand that he is officially out of power and the Cuban people should not be further punished for his madness.

Cuba buys on credit ? They drained the Soviets and are draining the Venezuelans, U.S. tax payers will foot the bill
and the Cuban people will continue to live as before with maybe a few trinkets. The Revolution is a failure except for
    the few in power.
