The FBI has reportedly spent months investigating whether Democratic presidential front-runner Hillary Clinton mishandled classified information while serving as secretary of state.
And now at least one longtime Washington insider is reporting that a recommended indictment could be coming soon.
Speaking on “The Steve Malzberg Show” Monday, former House Majority Leader Tom DeLay said his sources within the FBI claim the agency is closing in on Clinton.
“I have friends that are in the FBI, and they tell me they’re ready to indict,” DeLay said.
While the FBI can recommend an indictment, whether it leads to a prosecution, as DeLay pointed out, is a whole other matter.
It would ultimately be up to United States Attorney General Loretta Lynch to decide whether to prosecute Clinton. And Lynch is expected to come under significant pressure from the Obama Administration to look the other way on Clinton’s transgressions.
If that happens, DeLay said FBI agents may not go away quietly. DeLay claims they’re open to “going public” to make sure Clinton is held accountable and that her alleged crimes aren’t swept under the rug.
Questions over Clinton’s use of private email servers to handle classified information — and whether voters can trust her — couldn’t come at a worse time, with Iowa caucus voting just days away.
According to the latest Des Moines Register/Bloomberg Politics poll, Clinton holds a meager two-point lead over surging Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders in Iowa.
During a townhall meeting last night, Clinton was immediately put on the defensive by a young voter who said many of his peers view her as dishonest. She vigorously disputed that notion, blaming her perceived untrustworthiness on attacks from her political opponents.
“They throw all this stuff at me and I’m still standing,” Clinton said.
According to DeLay, that won’t be the case for long.
“One way or another, either [Clinton’s] going to be indicted and that process begins, or we try her in the public eye with her campaign. One way or another, she’s going to have to face these charges.”

Awake makes 2 of us. I didn’t grow up being taught entitlement. We were raised on morals, good Christina family values, hard work and honesty. Was not given or even suggested that we would have an inheritance. My parents raised their children through hard work and their inheritance was theirs to spend. I raised my children the same way. Both ae doing well and are hard working good citizens of this country. Never expected entitlement even thought the schools so their best to preach it.
I also am proud to be a business owner, and have also worked overseas in some not so good places. I can vouch through experience, there is no place like the USA, thanks to our men and women military service personnel.
I am proud to be an American and support all of our troops for all they do to enforce the freedoms of this great nation. I do wish, hope and pray that we can all become one party “Americans”.. There are two things the American people can do to limit corruption: 1) forbid lobbying. Of course this does not rid the legislature of all corruption as corrupt politicians could always take money under the table–but it certainly will reduce it. 2) Put Congressional term limits in place.

They are basically forced to take jobs off shore to have goods manufactured. There’s +$2 trillion of corporate money in off shore banks that could be used here to create more jobs and wealth among the citizens. But the government wants to tax it at 38% or more. Wouldn’t it be better to lower that tax rate and let these companies bring money home to be used elsewhere in our economy?. .
We must keep in mind consumer and federal debt are hurting each of us very much. The average credit card balance is about $8600 and folks have multiple credit cards. Average household credit card debt is about $17,000. Then stick on top of that debt; $19 trillion that the government owes. There’s $120 trillion in unfunded liabilities. This nation must get its spending under control. It isn’t the fat cats on Wall Street that are ALL to blame.
Pretty soon the interest payments on the national debt will be greater than what is collected in taxes. What then? How are we going to make those payments when there isn’t enough money coming in from all of us? Even if we taxed the 1% and all corporations at 100%, there still isn’t enough money to pay for things. Revenues from these taxes would fall way short of just making the interest payments and nothing on the principal.

Just because they feel that they did better economically during Bill Clinton’s tenure, they believe that the “good times” will return under Hillary. They do not understand that the economic direction of the country has been downward for some time. The Neo-cons took trillions out of the economy under Reagan and the Bushes (they made LOTS of money off of military buildup and war) and then Neo-libs were enabled to take still more under Clinton’s and Obama’s Neo-lib rule (free trade, open immigration to bring the cost of labor down and new impoverished, liberal voters in). But only so much wealth can be concentrated in the hands of a few before you start seeing economic collapse in a capitalist system. In putting it off till the end of February, Hillary will have had a chance to run in the first four primaries/caucus. If she is the clear frontrunner, there will be a LOT of pressure on Obama to protect Hillary from prosecution.

Rather to just make sure you know the facts. Ask yourself …. How many different opinions did I get? Where am I getting my info from? Are they biased and affecting my opinion? When the crap hits the fan does this person have a good grasp of the larger picture of world politics to deal with the challenges? Does this person have what it takes to make our country stronger, economically, as a world power? Will this person take us into another war or peace? You get the picture. Even though, if you are a veteran, which I have to talk your word on it since I don’t know you; I have brothers, nephews, nieces who are veterans and active yet who have a different opinion. Families suffer when gambling addiction takes financial value away from family needs. Likewise, just go look at the buss loads of elderly people brought into the casinos to throw their money away at the slot machines. Most of these people are living on very modest fixed incomes. Trump has no problem taking money from people who are either too addicted to gambling to help themselves, or too enticed by the chance to fix their problems by a quick win that never comes. He also has no problem throwing women away when he finds younger more attractive targets of his attention. So how is it that Christians are willing to overlook Trump’s immoral business and personal life and believe him when he holds up an old Bible his mother gave him. No one knows what Trump does in the privacy of his home, and that is his business, but I have to wonder how often he has opened that Bible. The bottom line for me is that he is ill-informed on vital international events and he has character flaws of a serious nature that make him a volatile and dangerous person to have in control of the United States’ vast arsenal of nuclear weapons. I guarantee you all that if you vote for this man and he becomes president, all of us and the rest of the world will regret it. Vote for Marco Rubio. He is a much more psychologically balanced and experienced choice and unlike Trump, he is a truly religious man and a true conservative to boot. Dump Trump!

It may be time for the Democrat Party to ask Hillary to withdraw and find a few competent candidates to enter the race. When there is a journalism culture that is against the idea of criticizing those with a D after their name, and there is a regime that doesn’t want an indictment to happen, it should be easy to see why these events are so slow to unfold. See how quickly the group of no longer working actors or actresses endorse the Democrat even though it be Hillary Clinton. It almost seems that they believe that being President of this great Republic is merely a leading role in a movie. Yet they are also those who cast Trump as a person who cannot be president because he is not already a politician. They want no one like Trump in their casting. And least of all, they do want anyone to become a director who isn’t a Democrat. Unfortunately they believe too much in the fantasy world in which they still reside.
To those Democrats and Republicans who are not hypnotized by actors and others in the movie industry, I ask them to use their wits and vote for Donald Trump. I,m so conservative I’d make Rush Limbah look like a liberal, but my ultra conservatism hasn’t made me devoid of understanding the needs of the various factions of our citizenry such as welfare recipients, educational opportunities to educate all who want to increase their employability, medical assistance, and a host of other pressing factors. There is an old saying “God helps those who help themselves” and I believe every American Citizen should study the issues and then get off their duff and show up at the voting booth and vote for the candidate of THEIR choice, not someone else’s choice. Both Cruz and Trump have the capability of turning things around in D.C. In my opinion, we really wouldn’t be the loser with the likes of either one in the White House.
