A scandal surrounding President Joe Biden’s recent media appearances has raised significant questions about the relationship between the Democratic Party and so-called “independent” media outlets — and has led to at least one radio star being fired.
The scandal, which began with one Pennsylvania radio host admitting to using pre-screened questions to interview Biden, has now grown to include a second host.
Andrea Lawful-Sanders, former host of “The Source” on WURD in Philadelphia, was the first to admit that she had used questions provided by the Biden campaign in her post-debate interview with the president.
Despite the questions being prepared by the White House, Biden fumbled the interview when he claimed to be the “first black woman” to serve in the White House, and was “elected statewide in Delaware when I was a kid.”

Lawful-Sanders admitted to CNN that she was given eight questions to ask Biden by the White House, of which she approved and used four. This admission led to her immediate departure from WURD, with the station citing a violation of their commitment to independence.
“The interview featured pre-determined questions provided by the White House, which violates our practice of remaining an independent media outlet accountable to our listeners.” Lomax claimed that WURD is “not a mouthpiece for the Biden or any other Administration.”
The scandal widened when Earl Ingram, host of “The Earl Ingram Show” on WMCS in Milwaukee, also admitted to ABC News that he too had received and used questions from Biden’s campaign. Ingram stated he was given five questions for his interview with the President, though he didn’t have time to ask all of them.
He told ABC News, “To think that I was going to get an opportunity to ask any question to the president of the United States, I think, is a bit more than anybody should expect.” He added that the opportunity “meant a lot” to him.
The revelations have sparked further anger about the deep Democratic Party ties to the mainstream media — and the lengths they’ve coordinated to hide Biden’s deteriorating cognitive ability.
Even CNN star Victor Blackwell pointed out that if the White House is trying to prove “the vim, vigor, acuity of the president,” providing pre-screened questions that Biden still fumbles is not helpful.
Biden campaign spokesperson Lauren Hitt dismissed the scandal and told Fox News Digital it’s common to coordinate with the media.
“It’s not at all an uncommon practice for interviewees to share topics they would prefer,” Hitt said.
Of course, this is far from the first time this has happened.
For decades, conservative critics have complained that the Democratic Party has huge control over media coverage and dictates the political narrative.
For example, in 2016 the Democratic Party was caught rigging a CNN debate between former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and then-Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump by being sent the questions ahead of time.
But this scandal comes at a sensitive time for the Biden campaign following a disastrous debate performance — and now Biden can’t even handle his own White House’s question.
