Top CNN star Jim Acosta did not get a warm welcome while covering a rally for President Donald Trump in Florida on Tuesday.
Acosta left his comfort zone and defiantly reported at the rally while a large crowd heckled him and booed him as he reported live on CNN.
Watch as Acosta gets an earful from the true America here —
CNN star Wolf Blitzer went live to Acosta as Trump was speaking in support of Rep. Rob DeSantis in Florida.
“There is no other way to describe what the White House is doing these days, Wolf,” Acosta reported, “top officials including the president are hiding from the press.”
He added, “And Wolf, just to give you a sense of what’s happening right now, you can hear there is a chorus of boos and other chants in this Trump crowd here in Tampa, Florida.”

“They’re saying things like ‘CNN sucks,’ ‘go home,’ and ‘fake news,’” Acosta told Wolf.
“Wolf, obviously all of those things are false,” Acosta continued, “we’re staying right here, we’re going to do our job and report on this rally to all of our viewers here tonight, Wolf.”
The humiliating incident left Acosta fuming and he took to Twitter to complain on Tuesday evening —
Just a sample of the sad scene we faced at the Trump rally in Tampa. I’m very worried that the hostility whipped up by Trump and some in conservative media will result in somebody getting hurt. We should not treat our fellow Americans this way. The press is not the enemy. pic.twitter.com/IhSRw5Ui3R

It seems as though Acosta is used to being the heckler, rather than being heckled at.
It doesn’t feel so good when you’re the one being shouted at, does it Acosta?
Take this humiliation into consideration next time you shout at the president at a press conference.
