Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) went to the Senate floor Tuesday to rip President Donald Trump’s Iran policy.
But for the first time, Schumer gave an factual representation of his opinion to the American people.
The Senate Minority Leader was mid-speech, pivoting to Iran and the National Defense Authorization Act, when an unmistakable audible sound interrupted everything.
Schumer smirked and stifled a laugh before continuing to ramble on.
C-SPAN caught all of it. The RNC Research account shared the clip with a simple question: “Did Chuck Schumer just break wind on the Senate floor?”

Schumer “appears to smirk and giggle a bit right afterward, seemingly confirming it,” RedState reported.
“Of course, everything Schumer says is pretty much just ‘gas,’ so this would fit. I guess someone had to take up the ‘gaslighting’ (literally and figuratively) mantle now that former California Democrat representative Eric Swalwell is gone.”
The disgraced Swalwell famously passed gas live on MSNBC in 2019, which critics have never let him live down.
As with the Democrats winds of change, Schumer is now the new hot air-apparent.
