It’s not every day that members of the far-left turn on one of their own.
But that’s exactly what happened over the weekend when a group of rabid protestors who said they were supporters of New York Democrat Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, suddenly turned on her during an event hosted by the liberal congresswoman.
Late Friday, AOC hosted a town hall event for her constituents, which quickly turned ugly. In now-viral video footage, one protestor stormed the stage, grabbed a microphone, and accused AOC of being a “liar” and a “war criminal.”
“I am a health care worker and I want to know what you’re doing about the genocide in Gaza!” the female protester yelled at Ocasio-Cortez in regards to the conflict in Israel. “I’m a nurse, shame on you!”
“Shame on you, you’re a liar. You’re a liar!” the protester continued to yell. “You’re a war criminal! War criminal!”
Some of AOC’s supporters loudly booed the protester or yelled, “Shame! Shame! Shame!”
However, others in the mob yelled that the protester should be able to speak.
Ocasio-Cortez quickly surrendered, and said she would be “happy” to respond to a question from the protester — but then stayed quiet as the woman was physically ejected from the event.

AOC has previously accused Israel of “genocide” following Hamas’ terror attacks on Israeli civilians, and Israel’s subsequent battle against the notorious terrorist group.
This is also not the first time that pro-Hamas protestors have disrupted Ocasio-Cortez at one of her events.
In October 2022, AOC struggled at a town hall event when two attendees confronted her for allegedly supporting nuclear war.
AOC complained that the protesters jumped ahead in line to ask their question. She also told the men she would address the issue “last” at the event, but video of the live-streamed town hall does not show the Democrat addressing them again.

Shortly after prostestors were removed from the event, Ocasio-Cortez took the stage to challenge President Donald Trump administration’s Border Czar Tom Homan to refer her to the Department of Justice for “using her free speech rights” to give advise illegal immigrants on how to avoid arrest.
“Come get me,” AOC taunted Homan.

Back in March, Ocasio-Cortez came under fire for an interview with NPR where she admitted to giving backdoor legal advice to illegal criminals on how to avoid justice.
“I was informing all of my constituents of their constitutional protections and, in particular, their constitutional protections against illegal search and seizure in the United States,” AOC said at the time.
AOC admitted during Friday’s town hall that she was giving advice to illegal aliens on how to continue to break U.S. laws, when asked by NPR.
“I was giving advice to all of my constituents, yeah,” Ocasio-Cortez responded.
