Vice President Kamala Harris has secured enough Democratic delegates to secure the 2024 presidential nomination at the upcoming Democratic National Convention, the Associated Press reported early Tuesday.
Harris quickly snatched up all the delegates that had pledged to support President Joe Biden’s abandoned re-election campaign after he announced over the weekend that he was stepping aside.
Now the question is: Who will Harris name as her running mate?
According to The USA Today, Harris’ campaign has reached out to several prominent Democratic Party leaders from various swing states for vetting materials: “North Carolina Gov. Roy Cooper, Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer, Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro, U.S. Sen. Mark Kelly of Arizona, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz and Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker.”
We want to hear from you, the readers of The Horn News.
