For years Democrats have supported “open borders,” but thanks to an extra dose of Trump Derangement Syndrome, they have adopted a new position to show their support for potentially homicidal criminal aliens: open prisons.
It’s no longer enough to let millions of illegal “migrants” cross the border year after year. Now, when illegal immigrants get caught by law enforcement, Democrats have to break the law to spring them.
That’s exactly what an aide to a top Democratic senator is accused of doing—and the whole event was caught on film.
An aide to Senator Tammy Duckworth, D-Ill., helped free an illegal alien named Jose Ismael Ayuzo Sandoval, a 40 year old Mexican citizen who had already been deported four times, and had a prior conviction for DUI.
The aide, Edward York, is a constituent outreach coordinator with Duckworth’s office, went to an ICE facility in Illinois two days before Halloween to play a dirty trick on America.
“At approximately 1:29 p.m., an individual identified as Edward York, who according to publicly available information, is employed as a Constituent Outreach Coordinator for your Senate office, entered the field office lobby, and in a discussion with a federal officer, claimed to be Mr. Ayuzo’s attorney. Mr. York demanded to speak with his ‘client,’” according to a letter from ICE Acting Director Todd Lyons. “This staff member allegedly did so to gain access to the detainee and seek his release from custody, and he accomplished it by falsifying an official Department of Homeland Security (DHS) form.”
Officials say York posed as Sandoval’s lawyer, asking him to sign a G-28 form, which authorizes an attorney to act on his behalf—and got officials at the St. Louis, Illinois, detention facility to sign Sandoval’s release form.
It seems Democrats have no more scruples breaking the law than the alien drunk drivers.
But York got caught up four days later when the law firm York claimed to be representing—Suarez Law Office in Collinsville, Illinois—filed the G-28 without Sandoval’s signature…even though ICE agents saw the detainee sign it in person.
ICE started digging and found out the Democrats bragged about the deception on social media.
The Montgomery County Illinois Democrats’ Facebook page had a post talking about a staffer lying to get an illegal out of custody,said Lyons. The Facebook group is now private.
Lyons, the law firm, and Senator Duckworth could all be in big legal trouble.
The left-wing aide managed to spring an illegal alien from ICE custody “by falsifying an official Department of Homeland Security form,” said the Department of Homeland Security’s social media account. “It appears as if Mr. York may have collaborated with the firm to cover his misrepresentation.”
ICE said it can’t even verify York is a lawyer. Legal experts point out, that’s a crime.
To make matters worse, the whole thing was caught on camera.

So far, the liberal Democratic senator has refused to make any public comment on the scandal. The DHS has given Duckworth until Monday, November 17, to answer.
“We look forward to a response from Senator Duckworth,” said Lyons on behalf of ICE.
Lyons practically begged Democrats to stop destroying American borders, stirring up rage against ICE agents, and putting Border Patrol agents in even further danger—to no avail.
“I implore all members of the U.S. House of Representatives and Senate, as well as their staff, to stop the political games that put law enforcement and detainees at risk. It is my sincere hope that you will advocate on behalf of your constituents who have been victimized by illegal alien crime and work with DHS to remove these criminals from the United States,” he wrote.
As the election last year showed, Americans of all backgrounds agree; but there’s no evidence the Left will listen to Lyons.
Duckworth and the Democrats have continually ginned up animosity against border enforcement by accusing them, without evidence, of human rights violations—and there’s no end in sight. “Time and again, Trump’s agents are using excessive force that ‘shocks the conscience,’” the two-term senator’s Facebook account charged earlier that week.
The Democratic Party establishment continues to level baseless charges in the face of violent anti-ICE riots violently targeting federal employees—tearing up public sidewalks and throwing concrete at ICE agents from overpasses, setting electric taxis on fire, and even causing a Democratic congresswoman to allegedly assault an ICE agent during a demonstration.
And, as The Horn exposed, the Democrats largely forced you to pay for these riots through your tax dollars.
Unfortunately, left-wingers’ hatred of uniformed border enforcement officers isn’t anything new; this has been going on for years. As The Horn reported six years ago, ultra-liberal Massachusetts Democratic Senator Elizabeth Warren claimed that, in ICE facilities, “children (are) held in cages”—and days after her outburst, a man in Cambridge offered to pay $500 to anyone who would kill an ICE agent in cold blood.
At the time, Warren was running for president, and she attacked ICE because she knew it would stir up her base—and it absolutely has. Attacks on ICE agents have skyrocketed 8,000 percent this year, according to federal officials.
The Democratic Party has a serious problem: It staked its political future on blanketing America with illegal aliens, hooking Republican donors on cheap labor, then working out a “bipartisan compromise” to give them amnesty and “a path to citizenship.”
Last November, voters elected a ticket that promised election integrity, putting American citizens first, and keeping the country safe through mass deportations.
The Trump administration takes credit for an estimated 2.2 million deportations over the last 10 months, mostly through self-deportations. ICE isn’t just arresting drunk drivers—as important as that is. The Horn News told you ICE’s recent “Operation Dirtbag” nabbed 150 criminal alien sex predators in Florida alone.
After millions of illegals streamed across our open borders during the last four years, the Trump administration is about to accomplish the historic task of putting the U.S. on track for net negative immigration.

Even lowly Democratic staffers know exactly what that means for them: If President Trump succeeds, their big plans to “fundamentally transform America” come to an end. And they’re willing to spring foreign criminals who could slaughter your entire family in a DUI just to keep their gravy train flowing.
