Fox News host Tucker Carlson and National Border Patrol Council President Brandon Judd slammed the mayor of Portland, Oregon on Tuesday after the mayor forced police to stand down against protesters at a local immigration and Customs Enforcement office.
A cease-and-desist letter was sent to Mayor Ted Wheeler stating that he was actively encouraging protesters of “Abolish ICE” and that he was in support of their cause.
Carlson explained that when “police in Portland, Oregon refused to even answer the 911 calls from an occupied building,” they were actually “refusing to protect American citizens.”
Are we moving towards civil conflicts in America?

Judd expressed to Carlson that Wheeler and the police department refused to protect the employees of ICE because they disagree with their political opinions. Judd explained that he is very disappointed with Wheeler’s decision to not protect ICE employees, and stated that it is the city police’s responsibility to keep order in the municipality.
“That is the wrong message to send,” Judd said. “There’s supposed to be a separation between law enforcement agencies.”
Carlson agreed with Judd and explained that the mayor is violating American citizen’s rights by denying police protection from angry protesters.
“That’s the beginning of the end if we allow that,” Carlson said. “Why aren’t they being arrested — where is the [Federal] Civil Rights Division on that?”
It is a Constitutional violation and according to Judd, the mayor is currently under investigation for violating the law.
If a citizen feels they are in danger, no American should feel they will be denied help because of their political stance.
This is disturbing on all levels and Wheeler deserves to be behind bars.
