Fox News star Tucker Carlson made an unexpected prediction during a Monday night segment that shocked viewers.
He gave rare praise to an unlikely figure in the Democratic Party: Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y.

And he warned Americans that because of the coronavirus pandemic, socialist politicians in Washington, D.C. are in a prime position to have her running for president of the United States.
“In four years, ‘Sandy Cortez’ will be eligible to run for president,” Carlson said, mocking the young, radical congresswoman.
“You may laugh at ‘Sandy Cortez’ – and you should – she’s a vacuous idiot, another rich girl narcissist with a Twitter account. But that doesn’t mean she couldn’t win,” he added. “If we keep up with this nonsense, this economic craziness, she could win.”
The “economic craziness” Carlson is speaking of?
The elite corporations and universities getting rich amid the coronavirus global pandemic. According to him, people like Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos are raking in money while the economy is shutdown — and regular Americans are paying the price.
“Jeff Bezos is now the richest man in the history of the world. Maybe he can share the load in a meaningful way. He’s not sharing it with his employees.”
“The rich are getting richer and everyone else is getting poorer,” Carlson said. “That’s not a talking point, it’s true and measurable.”

Some Twitter users noted that during the segment, Carlson in his monologue sounded very similar to Ocasio-Cortez, who has echoed similar talking points about taxing the rich.

“… if it continues, we’re going to wind up with an even more volatile society, in which everybody hates each other and is consumed by envy. And, along the way, capitalism itself will be discredited and you don’t want that.”

“It’s already happening,” he added.
