In the aftermath of the recent presidential debate, President Joe Biden’s campaign has spent the week attempting damage control at warp speed.
Despite Biden’s clumsy debate performance that caused many within his own party calling for him to bow out of the 2024 presidential election, team Biden continues to push the 81-year-old in front of the camera to prove to the American people (and his own party) that he can lead.
Team Biden’s latest hail mary? A recent sit-down with ABC News’ George Stephanopoulos.
This past Friday evening, ABC News released a pre-taped interview with Biden and Stephanopoulos. The interview was initially to air on Sunday and Monday, with previews of the interview airing Friday and Saturday.
The ABC interview — despite being a taped appearance — gave voters their first chance to see Biden speak at length since the debate.
Former President Donald Trump is calling on ABC to release the ENTIRE “real” interview — not just doctored footage.
In a Truth Social post on Thursday, Trump called for an interview that was “not a cut up promotion with only his few coherent answers released to the public.”
“Let the World know why Joe directed and allowed his Department of Injustice and others to illegally attack his Political Opponent, ME,” Trump said. “Also ask why he used all Soros Prosecutors and in particular, a loser like Deranged Jack Smith? The proof is irrefutable — Crooked Joe is a “COWARD!!!”
According to a previous report from The New York Times, Biden’s candidacy is riding on the fallout (good or bad) of an ABC News interview.
Was it a coincidence that the interview was pre-taped?
This is not the first time the Biden campaign has been caught relying on heavily edited footage. Last week the White House released of a video featuring Biden discussing democracy, which was immediately panned by critics.
“I counted nine different cuts in that 38 second video, and even then, Biden struggled to get through his lines in some segments. The glassy eyes, the stiff presentation, and the raspy voice are all there,” wrote RedState. “It’s the same guy who blew up his campaign last Thursday evening in front of a large segment of the country. Any claims that Biden looks and sounds better earlier in the day in a more controlled environment are simply cope.”

These pre-taped interview and doctored videos are a smoke screen to the growing concern amongst American voters have with Biden’s mental decline.

The Biden campaign is going all-in on showcasing to the country that the recent debate was not the real Joe Biden and that he is mentally fit to serve as president.
