Trump campaign manager Kellyanne Conway says Hillary Clinton had more money and more people on the ground — but, Team Trump “outworked them, and frankly, we outsmarted and outclassed them in some cases.”
Conway appeared on Fox News on Wednesday to analyze Donald Trump’s stunning defeat of Clinton. Conway said the Republican billionaire “did a great job sealing the deal.”
She said: “Take it to the bank — candidates matter. There’s no substitute for a great candidate.”
On CNN, Conway urged Trump’s critics to “lay down their verbal firearms.”
She said: “Give him a chance as your president-elect like we all did with President Obama and we all did with President Bill Clinton.”

Our country has spoken. Now it’s time for President-elect Trump to show the disaffected that he has unification on his mind, that he will be the thoughtful, reasoned voice of a civilized democracy. He has huge work to do, and I hope he approaches and sees the job for what it is. The greatest responsibility on the planet. I have hundreds of friends who are jubilant tonight. Hundreds more who are terribly despondent and deeply hurt. Where will it all lead is anybody’s guess. My hope is that the hateful words that were used by both candidate’s supporters are replaced with conciliatory words and deeds. Unification starts with the individual, and the responsibility lies within each of us. To paraphrase the words of a great American songwriter, you can’t shake hands with a fist. We must work harder than ever to help those in need, to remember those less fortunate than ourselves, to always remember that we are a country that historically embraces diversity and hard work, and rewards those who champion both.
Remember our past, and realize that one man can not, under any condition, make America great again. It takes an entire country to do that.
Join me tomorrow by reaching out to someone in need. Do something, anything, as an individual, that exemplifies the spirit of greatness. Do not gloat over your “victory” or mourn your “defeat”, but rather use your intellect and good will to make a fellow American be proud to live in this great land, where our vote matters, and we set our own course.

Good post. Now we get to watch the real fight between Trump and the establishment cronies that are still in office. If we don’t already know who the traitors are, we’re about to find out. I’m sure some will quietly leave the country for their mega-million dollar hideaways. Gotta give’em credit- hiding some of their ill-gotten gains in overseas properties is a win-win for them. Trump needs to use RICO laws to stop them from leaving with their $. I will gladly pay some tax $ to pursue them and confiscate all their assets. Hey, maybe that will actually happen- I thought Trump winning was a dream too!
WILEY says
HEY – WHERE ARE THE PEOPLE THAT BET 84 TO 12 “AGAINST” TRUMP ???

hiding? ha, ha!

THEY ARE NOW RUNNING AROUND WITH THEIR HEADS UP WHERE THE SUN DONT EVER SHINE! AND THEY NEVER LOOKED BETTER.

ctskip, you are a very wise person.
Thank you, very well put and I hope all who read it understand.

America has had at least 24 years of mediocre or worst leadership from our Congress and the Whitehouse that Mr. Trump and
the new Congress has to correct. Good luck my prayers are with them. I remind those Liberals who lost their leader, like we did
a few times. Get over, it we won the vote. Store your grievance’s and hatred, Give America a fair chance at it.
Rocketman says
There are a whole lot of very unhappy people on the Clinton side of the aisle that are about to become even more unhappy. President Trump will undoubtedly fire Comey and replace him with someone like Trey Goudy that will go after Hillary for her foundation, her “sex” parties aboard the “Lolita express” and her e-mail servers. This is going to get very, very nasty mark my words.
Helen Higgason says
Oh, if only he would replace Comey with the really SMART TREY GOWDY, he’s really a great person, and very smart to-boot!!!!
Terrence M. says
Sorry Rocketman, wish that Comey could be fired. However, he can’t be. Appointed position, 10 years, he has to resign or just quit.
Maybe he will just disappear.
Linda Abernathy says
I hear Hillary just purchased a few more body bags for the next round of the Clinton Body count. Watch Comey closely. Thinking of that, wheres Huma?
Patriot says
True to a point. There is no statutory legislation for removal of the FBI Director; However, one president since 1972 has already removed an FBI Director.
Mike Dar says
Maybe you don’t remember the Clinton’s getting an FBI director fired, it has been done and with very little effort can be done again.
Public opinion is very powerful and the expose of Comey’s Clinton foundation participation is all that is needed.
He will resign in disgrace.
Bobbie says
I’m sure he could be talked into resigning.
rodney burke says
If you have Trey working, it will not be pretty . That guy KNOWS how to body slam crooks. Too many have gotten away with too much for too long. Time for an accounting for wrong doing.
jerry holbrock says
We have laws it doesn’t have to get too nasty most people know right from wrong and if the don’t want to pay the piper then don’t get him to pipe. Get oput while the getting is good they have made enough to live happily ever after, but is it ever enough we will see.
Donald Risen says
We need Trey Gowdy as Attorney General, not FBI director.
Politically incorrect says
Rudy would be better as the AG and bring Newt back as speaker of the house and put Gowdy as head of home land security
Bobbie says
No It looks like Giuliani will be the AG and he is a good choice too. I’m sure there IS a place for Gowdy too.
Justin W says
Congratulations, Donald! On Jan. 20 you will get to show us how great of a leader you can be.
Donald Trump’s acceptance speech set a good tone. I hope that tone can continue.
CLIFF GOODMAN says
CLINTON TRIED,EVERY DIRTY TRICK,SHE COULD THINK OF.
NOW,I WANT TRUMP,TO KEEP HIS WORD AND PUT CLINTON IN PRISON.
Bobbie says
I doubt that that is even possible at this point Unless more dirty deeds come up.
Jon says
Last night watching the pundits wondering what kind of President Donald Trump would make if he was elected made me think about what was said by the liberal Nancy Pelosi, “We must pass this bill so we can see what’s in it.” That may not be an exact quote, but it is what I remember. Well, back at you. The nation elected Donald Trump to see what kind of President he will make. Now the shoe is on the other foot, so get over yourselves and realize your words and actions may have come back to haunt you.
El Tejas says
Now is the time to try and heal the wounds and reach out to those who may be feeling dispirited. But for now the first thing that has to be on Trump’s agenda is to get his transition team up and running with all feet on the ground. No doubt he has been prepping for this already. Then he must start putting together the names of the people that he wants to nominate for cabinet posts and other key positions. He should also be giving thought to the Supreme Court. Others matters may be considered after the inauguration.
DAR says
Great job and commitment Kellyanne, Thank you!
