September 11th, 2001 was an ugly day for America — and the radical Islamic terror attack once united us all.
All of us, expect Rep. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., it seems.
Omar spit on everything America stands for (not to mention 9/11 survivors) with a recent statement. And she would have gotten away with it… if Rep. Dan Crenshaw, R-T.X., hadn’t been brave enough to speak up.
Omar, speaking at a Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) event, referred to the most devastating Islamic terror attack on American soil as one where “some people did something.”
“CAIR was founded after 9/11 because they recognized that some people did something, and that all of us were starting to lose access to our civil liberties,” Omar said at the event.
Crenshaw, R-T.X. retweeted the nasty video of her statements, and had something to say in response —
First Member of Congress to ever describe terrorists who killed thousands of Americans on 9/11 as “some people who did something”.
Unbelievable. https://t.co/IKtoZWWmIT

After Crenshaw brought attention to the issue, he was joined by other patriots.
GOP Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel went off on Omar, too, making a point that her statement did more damage than just insult the victims and survivors of 9/11, but that it’s clear that she has an issue with America in general. Which is bizarre…given that she represents the country in one of the most powerful governing vessels in the world.
“Ilhan Omar isn’t just anti-Semitic – she’s anti-American. Nearly 3,000 Americans lost their lives to Islamic terrorists on 9/11, yet Omar diminishes it as: ‘Some people did something.’ Democrat leaders need to condemn her brazen display of disrespect,” wrote McDaniel in a tweet.

Apparently, it no longer is enough to just be a proud American.
Democrats need to attack 9/11 victims to appeal to their voters?
Omar has yet to apologize for the statement.
