Top CNN star Jim Acosta made another scene last week after yelling at President Donald Trump during a tax reform anniversary event.
Conservatives responded to his childish episode by launching a new trend to troll the mainstream media reporter — and what they’ve said is going viral.
The clever new trend was started after one Twitter user suggested that other conservative Twitter users add the phrase “Dear diary” to respond to whiny tweets from Acosta.
Video of the Acosta shouting at Trump went viral on Twitter after people were forced to turn around and quiet the reporter from disrupting the event.
After the incident made bad headlines, Acosta tweeted, “I tried to ask the president if he would stop calling us the enemy of the people. He did not respond.”

A Twitter user responded to his whiny tweet saying, “Fun game: Try to preface any Jim Acosta tweet with the words “Dear diary,””

According to Acosta, he was simply asking the president to stop calling “us” the enemy of the people. But, the video footage does not lie, he was screaming at Trump and was asked repeatedly to be quiet.
Take a look for yourself —
CNN’s Acosta screams at Trump from across the room: "Mr. President, will you stop calling the press the enemy of the people."

Do we need anymore evidence that this man’s credentials need to be provoked?
