It’s no secret that Tim Walz is a little man — and now he’s facing a big scandal.
The Minnesota governor was the only political figure so unassuming and inconsequential that he could fade into Kamala Harris’ shadow on the campaign trail during the 2024 election.
But the small man is full of a huge hatred—an anger of being rejected so deep that he doesn’t care if his thirst for revenge hurts the American people.
Tim Walz recently cheered on an economic trend that would bankrupt his state’s elderly pensioners, just because it would also hurt one of President Donald Trump’s top supporters.
Walz told a cheering audience in neighboring Wisconsin that he took pride and joy when he saw Tesla’s stock price crash.
“On the iPhone they’ve got that little stock app. I added Tesla to it to give me a little boost during the day. 225 and dropping!” Walz yelled, thrilled that the stock was plunging. “If you own one, we’re not blaming you. You can take dental floss and pull the Tesla thing off.”
But there’s a huge problem: “Shotgun” Tim Walz just shot himself in the foot.

His state’s pension board is invested in the stock. That means its profits go directly to his state’s retirees…and its losses cost all taxpayers.
“As of Dec. 31, 2024, the Minnesota State Board of Investment (SBI) had invested in Tesla through both its U.S. Stock Actively Managed Fund and U.S. Stock Index Fund,” reported Alpha News, the state’s conservative-leaning investigative news outlet.
Of all people, Tim Walz should have known that since, Alpha News reports, “The SBI is chaired by Walz himself.”
The scandal’s blowback left Walz with egg on his face.
One leading commentator and financial analyst said Walz’s comments remind him of a great historic figure: Bozo the Clown.
“It’s beyond stupid, what he did,” businessman and commentator Kevin O’Leary told a hostile panel on CNN. “What’s the matter with that guy? He doesn’t check the well-being of his own constituents in his state? That’s their investment fund.”
Kevin O'Leary nails it on multiple points here:
1. Anyone who lights a car on fire should go to jail, no exceptions
2. Tim Walz is a moron because Minnesota's pension plan is backed by Tesla stock pic.twitter.com/x5bEBgIGov

Walz’s comments are the latest evidence that the Democratic Party hates its enemies more than it loves its supporters—even its own elderly retirees.
The failed vice presidential candidate, who has admitted he has an eye on running for president in 2028, has since tried to walk back his comments, blaming conservatives for his self-inflicted wounds.
“They have no sense of humor. They are the most literal people,” said Walz, after he spent the entire campaign twisting President Trump’s words to claim Republicans were going to use the U.S. military to round up liberals as “the enemy within.”
Walz now claims he was “being a smartass. I was making a joke.”
But Walz continued during his rant on his if he were the world’s wealthiest man, he’d be “out on the street handing out the money and be fun as hell just to help people out.” But that’s not the behavior from Musk, he said: “Not, this guy. Not this guy.”
That comparison doesn’t hold water. As head of DOGE, Elon Musk and his team of young, volunteer assistants have combed through thousands of government grants to give Americans their back the hard-earned tax dollars liberal politicians bureaucrats squandered on their friends—while Walz and his cronies have demanded you pay higher and higher taxes to fund them.
The record shows Walz is a big spender, but only with other people’s money.
In a moment of clarity, Walz finally fessed up that “I said something I probably shouldn’t have about a company” like Tesla.
Tim Walz is now desperately trying to backpedal on his sick comments about Tesla. Claims it was a joke and accuses Republicans of having no sense of humor.
It’s always “just a joke” when they get called out.

That’s par for the course for a candidate who has said, “I’m a knucklehead at times.”
He said he falsely claimed that he carried weapons on war on a battlefield in Iraq, because his “grammar’s not always correct.”
But one of Walz’s most recent comments could prove really unhealthy for him.

Tim Walz blamed his stolen valor claims on “bad grammar.”
He then dodged questions about why he lied about IVF use & his arrest.
No one can believe a word this guy says! He is a liar and a fraud!

As funny as it is, the Democratic Party emphasized Walz’s masculinity as a “football coach” and “war veteran” (who never served in combat).
One a podcast with California Gov. Gavin Newsom, Walz called out tens of millions of Trump voters. “I think I could kick most of their ass,” Walz said.
That caught the attention of Glenn Jacobs, who is now the mayor of Knox County, Tennessee.
Before he went into politics, he entered into the WWE Hall of Fame as the 7-foot wrestling wonder known as Kane.
Jacobs challenged Walz to a wrestling match to prove just how tough the short, pudgy, effeminate Minnesotan Democrat really is.

"Well, my first reaction, obviously, was to laugh at the thought of Tim Walz being a tough guy."

Walz did his best to talk down the price of a stock that helps the elderly of his own state.
And if Walz keeps directing his jealousy, bitterness, and rage at Trump supporters, his mouth may write checks that Walz can’t cash.
