I am sure that whomever he chooses will be ok, but Newt would probably add more brain to the campaign.
Donald Will appoint people around him to do the lifting, he’s a very bright man and although I prefer Newt Gingrich, I’m sure whomever he selects will be a very qualified person.
I think Newt is the best on the list. Christie has way too much baggage-including his own email gate and bridgegate. He is too brash and DT needs someone to offset his tone. Newt has baggage too but is a real powerhouse in terms of legislation. Who I would LOVE to see Trump nominate is Allen West!!!! He would be amazing for SO many reasons!!!

Newt Gingrich would be the Democrats first choice for Trumps VP , Gingrich resigned in disgrace as speaker before he was to be thrown out as speaker !! The Democrats would tear him to pieces about his past ,Gingrich should never hold any public office !! I agree with you, Newt knows more about how the government works than any other choice. He will make a good running mate for Trump and together they can take lying Hillary to the dumps. Newt is outspoken and honest in relation to the rest of the congress. He himself could dig the hole for Hillary.
Where is the poll?
I do not think the choice of vice-president will matter much in light of the total “clown” that heads the ticket. Trump cannot remake himself through his vice-president. He is crude and brash and I think many will simply not vote in this election. People with good judgement will not be able to hold their noses and vote for either one of the candidates.
A non vote is a vote for the liar Hillary Clinton. Political power in the hands of this elitist snob would be a disaster for our country.
If anyone does not vote in the upcoming election, then you have no right to complain. It is time for the real American people to stand up and be counted. The democrats count dead people, and those living liberal democrats are brain dead so they should not be counted. If you want America to turn into a country like Argentina, then by all means vote for Bernie. It is our America, not theirs, and the only way to get it back is to not vote for Hillary or Bernie. Former Texas Governor Rick Perry was never mentioned except by myself & some other people. A Trump-Perry ticket is a perfect balanced slate of North-South, East-West, both Donald J. Trump & Rick Perry are from states that are key states that have a large number of electorial votes, number of voters as well. Balanced slates always win elections normally.

Truly I think his best VP would be Sarah Palin, and that is because she ALSO was not really a politician, but actually a conservative. She was DESTROYED by the politicians who were afraid of her for very stupid and foul “issues”, starting with her being a “Miss America” in the past. Actually her WORST problem was that she was NOT a politician as such and the political “machine” knew she was a danger to them — but they managed to get her to give up, and she diod not have the resorces that Trump has, or she would have done much as he has now. Non politicians are claimed have no brains, supposedly — just like Hedy Lamarr (the actress) was an airhead too. SHE was actually an Austrian physicist who developed the begiinning concepts of broadband (DSL) and GAVE the patents to the US to use in a radio that Germany could not intercept. Actually she specifically meant it to be used so that we could use torpedos from airplanes to shoot down U-boats, with torpedos immune to jamming — but our government was too foolish to use her design for that function (probably thought an actress could not know what she was talking about — but her first husband was an arms dealer and she KNEW weaponry — our loss), so it took us a lot longer to clean out the wolfpacks out after the British shipping. Likewise NOW, the politicians claim Trump is “just a businessman” and cannot handle politics like they do. They ARE right in that, he will hire those who have the knowledge he needs to use and HATES lies and incompetence, so the political machine KNOWS they have to stop him, or else THEY WILL BE STOPPED. Of course, that is what WE, THE PEOPLE want — but politicians never DID care about THAT, we are nothing at all to them and they think they are princes (more like the emperor of myth who was talked into going naked in his “new clothes” — he was as stupid as our POLITICIANS ARE!

As far as past errors he has reformed beautifully.

But personally I would like to see him have Ben Carson as VP, if Newt Gingrich could then be hired by Trump , as a liaison with congress and senate.
I believe Trump should be elected as voice of the people, but have a real good political team at his side.
