“On the Holmes Front,” with Frank Holmes
Sometimes a controversy in one part can show you how hypocritical the other party is. The controversy over Congressman Steve King is a perfect example of how shameless, gutless — or just plain evil — the Democrats in Congress really are.
What did Steve King do? The only thing we know for sure is that King, an Iowa Republican, used the words “white supremacist” and “Western civilization” after one another.

The New York Times says that King was defending racism; King says the Times is lying about what he said.
Either way, House Republicans decided to play it safe and punish King.
House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy kicked King off of every committee in Congress; Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell said King “should find another line of work”; and Jeb Bush tweeted that the Republicans had to defeat King ASAP:
It’s not enough to condemn @SteveKingIA's unconscionable, racist remarks. Republican leaders must actively support a worthy primary opponent to defeat King, because he won't have the decency to resign. https://t.co/MRAMnuJaym

Racism is despicable and indefensible. If King really did come out of the closet as some kind of a secret Klansman, the GOP was absolutely right to take action against him.
But if Steve King’s words demanded action, what about these scandals from the Democrats in Congress?

Take newly elected Rep. Rashida Tlaib, the first Palestinian in Congress.
As soon as she got sworn in, the Detroit-area Democrat had dinner with a man tied to Palestinian terrorists.
Abbas Hamideh, the head of a group called Al-Awda, tweeted out a picture of the two of them holding a painting of the new congresswoman—wearing a keffiyeh, the terrorist scarf that Yasser Arafat wore.
I was honored to be at Congresswoman @RashidaTlaib swearing in ceremony in #Detroit and private dinner afterward with the entire family, friends and activists across the country. #Palestine #TweetYourThobe #RashidaTlaib pic.twitter.com/caJPN12ODX

Al-Awda calls for Israel to be wiped off the map and has passed on messages from the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, a government-recognized terrorist organization.

What has Nancy Pelosi done? Nothing… and Republicans have noticed.
“It is deeply alarming to see a Member of Congress associate closely with an individual who publicly praises Hassan Nasrallah, leader of the Iran-backed Hizballah terrorist group that killed 241 Americans in the 1983 Beirut bombing attack,” said Senator Marco Rubio’s spokesman.
If Democrats will swallow terrorism, they won’t bat an eye over racism and anti-Semitism.
If you need proof, look at the cozy relationship several of their members have with Louis Farrakhan, the leader of the black supremacist Nation of Islam.
Farrakhan has said that “Jews are my enemy,” he’s called Hitler a “very great man,” and he’s said that “white people deserve to die.”

Yet Democrats still line up to this day to get Farrakhan’s approval.
Feast your eyes on this video of Rep. Maxine Waters warmly hugging Farrakhan behind closed doors:
Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA), who now leads the House Financial Services Committee, hugs racist and anti-Semite Louis Farrakhan
Farrakhan has praised Hitler as being a "very great man," has called Judaism a "gutter religion," and compared Jews to "termites"

Kevin McCarthy stripped Steve King of all his committee assignments. What did Nancy Pelosi do to Maxine Waters?

Pelosi appointed Mad Max the chairwoman of the House Banking Committee.
It would be bad enough if Waters were alone, but at least seven Democratic congressmen in the last Congress have met with Farrakhan after they were elected to Congress.
The other six were: California Rep. Barbara Lee, Illinois Rep. Danny Davis, Indiana Rep. Andre Carson, New York Rep. Gregory Meeks, Texas Rep. Al Green, and recently retired Minnesota Rep. Keith Ellison.
Ellison—who quit Congress to become the attorney general of Minnesota—used to be a member of the Nation of Islam, according to Farrakhan himself.
Every one of these congressmen is being protected by Pelosi and company.

“What is perhaps the worst part about this is Democrats won’t do a single thing about it, nor will Democratic Jewish groups,” said a spokesman for the Republican Jewish Coalition. “It’s all because they’re afraid to stand up to their rabidly anti-Israel, far-Left base.”
Why would they? Let’s not forget the former President Barack Obama posed for a picture with Farrakhan—and the photographer admitted hiding the damning photo for years.
If Steve King deserved to be smacked down over his comments, don’t these extremists deserve to be reprimanded for sidling up to racists and terrorist sympathizers?
The fact that Pelosi won’t move a finger to discipline them either tells you how extreme the Democrats are.
…or how cowardly Pelosi is.
Maybe both.
