Democrats and their far-Left allies in the streets of Minneapolis have called federal Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents Nazis, the Gestapo, and an occupying force.
But a series of major announcements from the Trump administration prove, they should have called ICE agents saviors, defenders, and deliverers.
In just a few weeks, the Trump administration has arrested a mob of convicted and accused murderers, terrorists, gang members, rapists, child abusers, and every other form of criminal low-life.
They’re the worst of the worst, and they were all arrested over the objections of virtually every Democrat in the country.
“Despite coordinated attacks of violence against our law enforcement, our officers have made more than 4,000 arrests of illegal aliens including murderers, pedophiles, rapists, gang members, and terrorists in Minnesota since Operation Metro Surge began,” said Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin Wednesday in a press release obtained by The Horn.
Little by little, the word is getting out about the criminal illegals ICE agents are taking out of Minnesota communities.
Many of them belong to anti-social criminal gangs—like Jose Miguel Reyes Jovel, a criminal alien from El Salvador who belonged to MS-13. He has been convicted of homicide, as well as drug trafficking and selling amphetamines…in America. But he had already been arrested for committing aggravated homicide in 2011 in El Salvador.
It’s not just Central American gangs who smuggled their agents across the southern border.
ICE busted Oriental “Lo” gang member Yang Koua Moua, who had been ordered to be sent back to his home country of Laos in 2013. Another Laotian, who belonged to the “Asian Boys” gang and was ordered back to Asia in 2018, also got picked up on the Twin Cities.
ICE agents cleaning Minneapolis and St. Paul’s streets have also vacuumed up drugs of every description. Consider deportees like Saeb Sivixay of Laos, who had already been convicted three times for selling amphetamines as well as for contributing to the delinquency of a minor. They also busted Tong Sphabmisay of Thailand, whom police caught with 200 tablets of the drug ecstasy. Judges ordered Sivixay deported in 2009, and Sphabmisay got his deportation order in 2004, but here they are, as late as 22 years later, hiding out in a sanctuary city.
Mexico’s Venustiano Cardoso got busted while trying to distribute cocaine. So did Carmen Mireya Alarcon Rivera of Ecuador. Others got busted with marijuana or making meth.
Sanctuary city policies have even let potential terrorists hide in our midst. In Minneapolis, ICE arrested Mario Yubany Fuentes-Sanchez of Honduras, who had been convicted of making terrorist threats.
“Democrats opened our borders and allowed vicious criminals, including murderers, rapists, gang members, and terrorists, to invade our communities,” said White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt. “President Trump’s commonsense immigration enforcement policies are delivering the public safety results the American people demanded.”
Federal law enforcement have taken the filthiest criminal scum off U.S. streets before and after Border Czar Tom Homan took over the operation from Border Patrol leader Greg Bovino last week.
Operation Metro Surge arrested Luis Edison Guaman-Loja, an Ecuadoran criminal alien who is guilty of sexual conduct with a minor and domestic assault; Gerson Leonel Orellana Torres, a criminal illegal alien from Honduras who is guilty of domestic abuse and DUI; and Mexican illegal Daniel Ivan Gonzalez-Alarcon, who has been busted for assault/domestic battery, larceny, and DUI. … on Monday.
Sometimes Democrats knew about the offenders for years but did nothing.
The Biden-Harris administration caught Tomas Espin Tapia illegally entering the country in October 2022 but set him free. It turned out Tapia committed murder in his native Ecuador and was arrested for allegedly committing a sexual assault in Connecticut. A federal judge issued a final removal order for Tapia last February 28, when the alien failed to show up at his hearing.
Agents busted Mong Cheng, a criminal alien from Laos, had been convicted of homicide, assault, vehicular theft, and possessing stolen property. He had previously been arrested for arson.
Often, the criminal aliens preyed on the most innocent Americans, abusing, assaulting, or raping children. Criminal alien Blong Xiong committed sodomy on a 12-year-old girl. Hoang Xuan Nguyen from neighboring Vietnam committed rape, sexual conduct with a victim under 13, and DUI.
Laotian criminal illegal Tong Xiong was convicted of lewd/lascivious acts with a minor, sexual assault, kidnapping, assault, armed robbery, and robbery. He’d already violated parole for previous convictions in the United States.
Agents handcuffed Liberian criminal alien Blayon Lawrence Yuoh, who had already been convicted of rape, sexual assault, assault, robbery, larceny, robbery, obstructing police, and possession of stolen property.
They also arrested Mahad Abdulkadir Yusuf, a criminal alien from Somalia convicted as a sex offender, on New Year’s Eve. Forcing his victim to perform oral sex on him multiple times is only the latest offense for Yusuf, who a 2016 arrest for first-degree assault and was currently wanted for obstructing police business in 2024. Other illegals—from Minneapolis, St. Paul, or Minnesota alone—have been caught committing assault with a deadly weapon, child abuse, theft, car theft, manufacturing methamphetamine, fraud by impersonation, malicious punishment of a child, soliciting a minor, commercial sex, and an untold multitude of other crimes.
Meanwhile, left-wing radicals have harassed law enforcement officers and helped the criminal alien perpetrators.
When you see videos of anti-ICE agitators swarming our officers and agents in Minneapolis, MN, just know… this is who they’re trying to protect.
Below are some of the WORST of the worst we’ve arrested and taken out of MN neighborhoods to protect American families:

Federal authorities have repeatedly warned protesters—sometimes face to face—that left-wing sabotage only serves to keep the most violent and extreme criminals on the streets.
“Every time local jurisdictions refuse to cooperate with ICE, and every time activists use their ridiculous whistles and bullhorns to alert criminal aliens, they are helping violent offenders, including convicted sex predators like this one, escape justice,” said Homeland Security Investigations Special Agent in Charge Mark Zito.
Sometimes law enforcement inform protesters face to face, to make sure they get the message. Earlier this month, one ICE agent told a Minneapolis liberal that her fellow protesters are “honking and impeding our investigation while we’re trying to arrest a child sex offender. That’s who you guys are protecting.” “Insane!” he erupted in disgust.

Aside from the 4,000 arrests in the Twin Cities, the Trump administration was responsible for 622,000 deportations in its first year, as well as stimulating a total of 2.5 million illegal aliens fleeing the country.
And despite left-wing protesters’ hatred, they plan to keep the criminal alien deportations coming. On Thursday, the Department of Homeland Security announced the launch of a new website—WOW.DHS.GOV—“so Americans can see the criminal illegal aliens we are arresting, their crimes, and the communities we removed them from.”

And the Trump administration plans to keep ICE agents’ morale high while they round up the lowest of the low. On Wednesday, Homan told agents on the streets, “President Trump and I would like to thank the men and women of ICE, Border Patrol, and other federal agencies on the ground here for your dedication to the oath you swore to enforce the federal laws and promote public safety through the work you do.”
Americans from sea to shining sea would like to send federal law enforcement our thanks and gratitude, too.
